Whites man Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Dark forces? Good grief I think he means Trump is a member of Syltherin. Quote
bolty58 Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Dark forces? Good grief FFS, give me a licence for the dramatic from time to time Sinister forces then. Instruments of the establishment who had their collective noses bloodied by the electorate in turning away from their crooked pawn. Faceless men who are used to actually running things when the career politicians/stooges are in place as mere figureheads. Add in whining celebs and the liberal left and bingo! Dark forces Quote
bolty58 Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Obama No need for such an inference. The lure of the 'r' word just too hard to resist? Quote
bolty58 Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Are we talking about Donald or Jeremy? Just being silly now. Jeremy's rejection by the electorate is yet to come. That's if he can hang on that long before his own party draw the knives. Quote
Salford Trotter Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 (edited) This is like watching the denouement of a netflix film play out. His lies and deceit will become plain to see and hopefully it will end in a long jail sentence Edited August 22, 2018 by Salford Trotter Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 If he is nicked, what happens, a replacement from the current government or another election? Interesting to note Microsoft have revealed meddling from Russia again as well as twatter/faceache blocking russian/Iranian accounts. Given all the fake news and bullshit, they'd elect a talking parrot if it said the right things Quote

I know he is withdrawing from the political arena but Paul Ryan always seemed a decent and well balanced politician Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 I've heard Veep Mike, should he get the top job, plans to change his first name to 'Fiddy' - to appeal to the yoof/hip hop/gangsta rap crowd... In, erm, Britain... I'm here until Friday. Quote

Salford Trotter Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Drained a swamp and made a cesspit. That cesspit is as deep as they get and there is still loads more to come out Quote

Visceral hatred for what reason? Scottish instead of Irish heritage? Obscene wealth? Beat the Clinton dynasty? Anyway. Four more years! Quote
Zico Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 No need for such an inference. The lure of the 'r' word just too hard to resist? Obama is dark skinned, there's no two ways about it, and an enemy of trump what's racist about that? Quote
mickbrown Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 It's plain to see he's a lying sack of shit. Was always going to catch him out in the end Quote
Sweep Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 It's plain to see he's a lying sack of shit. I'm not sure that's a surprise to anybody really, he'll worm his way out of it though I'd have thought Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Listening earlier, I didn't realise just how difficult it is to charge a president with a criminal offence. More likely an impeachment route, but even that is long winded and requires a vote. As the reporter put it, trump could just pardon the two convicted guys (from today) and carry. It's bizarre. Bolty- I've tried really hard to cut the bloke some slack, but irrespective of political persuasion (which isn't relevant to my point), it seems evident that the bloke is a horrendous individual. I'd want a more trustworthy bloke at the top, if I was in TM's position for example. Quote

frank_spencer Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 It's hard to judge any on the Republican side of things at the minute as any sensible ones seem to be keeping their noggin down during the Trump shit storm. Much like politics over here anyone with half a brain doesn't want the current messes staining their record. Quote
Salford Trotter Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Ryan is standing down this year (at 48).I know, i said that in my post but some commentators have suggested that his motive is to distance himself from Trump in order to launch his own bid for the Presidency at some stage Quote
bolty58 Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 Bolty- I've tried really hard to cut the bloke some slack, but irrespective of political persuasion (which isn't relevant to my point), it seems evident that the bloke is a horrendous individual. I'd want a more trustworthy bloke at the top, if I was in TM's position for example. A trustworthy bloke in politics? Hmmm...........good luck with that one! I am coming at this from a different angle (two angles really). The first is related to why he was elected in the first place; one reason why the Brexit referendum went the way it did and to a lesser extent why the 'traditional' parties are losing ground all over Europe and the world to lesser lights. Sick to the back teeth of career politicians with their snouts in the trough (no greater example than the 'leaders' of the EU) who care not a jot for their voters (and socialists are the fucking worst for this in my experience - the ultimate hypocrites) and feather their nest at every opportunity. This bloke is already obscenely wealthy and is just something different (even though the lying and cheating appears to match conventional politicians) so let's see what a businessman can do. No one ever really wants to talk about the good things which have happened to the US economy - only latch on to the sensationalism generated by those good old dark forces. The second is the great delight I take in watching the anguish of utter lowlife cunts like Ashley Judd and her ilk at the very prospect of a man like Trump being in the White House. Add in the irrational hatred you see on here from those mainly of a left persuasion and those revolting specimens who march on the streets with their "Not my President" banners etc and you can see why I might describe 'Four More Years' as 'delicious'. The meltdown from the aforementioned whining shrillfinches would be most pleasurable to behold. Quote
