Is that because of or despite membership of the EU

If we did do some whopping deal with them, would they start buying things we make

If it's just more service shit, it's not going to get me moist

Whatever it is we sell more to them than they do to us. Let’s get a trade deal sorted and work with the US to grow trade between both countries. I’m doing my bit fucked off german car and bought American, mind you found out it had Italian engine after I bought it.😂

Disgusting behaviour by thugs again today on this poor old guy, and all because he’s a Trump supporter.

Absolutely disgraceful

I thought you said our global trade was restricted by our EU membership?

Think your making stuff up again. Par for the course.

So you've never claimed that our EU membership was preventing us from trading with the rest of the world?

Not sure it matters really. Corbyn was never going to attend that. Rightly so. I don't think Corbyn gets much right but he got that right. Along with extending an offer of talks. I have a lot of respect for anyone who said "bollocks to this" with regard to that dinner.

Get that, but if he’s going to say bollock to that to the president of the USA still don’t get why he didn’t say bollocks to that for the Chinese state dinner ? They are worse than anything that happens in the  USA in terms of stuff Corbyn professes to object to.

i wasnt aware of Corbyn offering to meet him, but know they have said they would if he wanted, however it’s irrelevant to my point about boycotting the state dinner specifically for trump and not the state dinner for the Chinese one

not arguaning for trump one way or the other, just can’t get my head around that specific differentiation they seem to have applied

I think the best comparison re the Trump visit, is the likes of Corbyn protest against him, but they want the likes of Shamima Begum to be allowed back in this country.

That takes one special kind of stupid.

“It will be in your interests to do it, just as in the same way we ran down the coal and steel industries. These things happen as evolution takes place in your economy.”

so you agree we should run down our manufacturing industries? How many jobs will be impacted as a result and how do we redeploy these workers? That's 2.7m workers currently employed in that sector

At last mick a post I completely and utterly agree with from you. My faith is restored

A democratically elected leader from another country visits us. Has tea and a posh meal with the queen. People jump up and down screeching hysterically (metaphorically and genuinely) because they feel that they have to......on both sides

Fuck it, there’s bigger things to worry about in the UK right now than him visiting

Don’t get me wrong, I still think the bloke is an absolute bellend.

And enjoy being correct for once;)

No, I’m just inviting people to see other perspectives

That’s like voting for something then finding out afterwards that what you were told was a bit bollocks.

Good job something like THAT can’t happen in real life.

To be honest, I know cock all  about cars.

Proper yank cars are ace.

Most of those sold over here are made up of parts from various French and Italian brands.

87 OCT is around $2-35 , 89 OCT  is around $2-50 ,93 OCT is around $2-75 if you  are running E85 that's around $2-20

Wrong oct rating

just seen this on twitter

I'm no Trump fan, but seriously, this whole protest and counter protest mentality that appears, to me, to be becoming a way of life for many is showing just how fucked and divided society is, on many issues they actually can't do anything about, or won't be listened to

seriously, all fuck off and find something constructive/positive to do

you're wasting your time

woman or not, he should've got a cheeky elbow in her face, or at least crushed the milkshake into it

Where would our unleaded and super unleaded fit into that as a comparison?

It's still significantly cheaper in the states though.

87 0CT is what they call regular here ( most cars run on that) which would be the regular unleaded in the UK

93 OCT ( which mines runs on) is what they call premium )which I would guess is super unleaded ?

Also remember that a US gallon is smaller then a UK gallon , so those price for comparison would have to be higher, but is still a lot cheaper here, but the taxes on fuel here is a lot less  then in the UK, which the last time I looked was somewhere in the region of 71% tax
