This sort of delivery would have been brilliant last night. But he might as well have collapsed on stage, and the optics wouldn't be any worse. The Democrats are fucked if they stick with him. He's clearly a good man, doing a good job, but age is a fucker.

Without wishing to name drop who I’ve been lunching with lately, unlike a certain poster on here , I was with the late Barbara Windsor’s hubby this week who detailed her decline due to dementia, and the hounding that they got from the press. The dust in the room was like a fucking Saharan wind storm it was so sad
