When you consider the opposition, there isn't much of a choice either way.

Different political culture too, so we perhaps have to look at it through their eyes.

Perhaps mate, perhaps.

I guess I look at it about what would be better for us - and the wider world. Rather than might be better for the immediate gratification of US voters.

Of which there will be many supporting both parties yet all Trump supporters are thick. Go figure.

If you think a lot of racists and mysogynists are voting for Harris, you're in the third category of that particular sentence.

Half of them have died since and the other half are claiming it will save the day very soon.

You’re not dead yet. Can you explain  how it will save the day very soon? 👀

I'm not convinced he'll win anyway, certainly not cut and dried.

For the wider world; she seems more coherent, and more environmentally aware.

Whether she'll be as good a deal maker etc, I'm not so sure.

Like him or loathe him, he seems to have the "salesman" within him.

Still a shallow, vacuous twat though.

He's not a "salesman". He's a con man.

I wouldn't mind so much if he was selling windows door to door.

I just can't imagine he understands the complexities of international statesmanship.

He massively fucked up those talks with North Korea as well. Pushing them further towards Russia and China.

That's the next one we should have our eye on next. If China attack Taiwan - North Korea will be pouring troops into South Korea shortly thereafter.

He also fucked up the deal with Iran and I am sure Putin has some Kompromat on him.

The bloke is dangerous.

He comes out with this a lot, 'thick owd racist' nonsense.

It is an indisputable fact that people who voted brexit were older then the population age average and came from lower socio-economic backgrounds with lower levels of educational attainment. Being racist has nothing to do with it but it does lead to less access to higher salaries and immigration directly impacting on certain types of employment which leads to....

Same with Trump voters in America. Lower levels of educational achievement, an inability to skill swap easily, not as much access to the international labour markets.

Its not everyone, but overall those are the core voter bases.

Mentioning the fact that its only over 60s where the majority vote Tory is ageist

Even when you're only 18 months from being there!

Don't worry about Iran. I can't imagine they're going to get involved in any brinkmanship any time soon 😬🤣

Dunno what happened with his Rocket man meetings, so I'll take your word for it.

As for the Koreans, the south only need to fire a few food parcels over the border, and the northerners would soon give up!

America is fucking strange. Can you think of another country where a wrongun like Trump would have a chance of being its democratically elected leader?

The North Koreans had wanted a normalisation of relationships with the USA for years and had actively pursued it for years. In return they wanted some kind of formal recognition and the reduction of some of the trade sanctions the US had placed against them. Trump gave him short shrift after talking up their relationship and didn't manage any kind of deal.

As a consequence the North Koreans ripped up the policy of trying to repair relationships with the US, declared South Korea as an eternal enemy, pulled down all their unification monuments and started cosying up to Russia and China.

They had a shit ton of munitions that could have kept Russia in shells for years which Putin took advantage of at first. But the Ruskies have now got an industrial sector geared up for the war and can produce their own. So North Korea are sending the only thing they can do to preserve the new ties with Russia and that's manpower. Which they also have a shit ton of. Their military is huge (if badly equipped with third rate gear).

The problem is - they will have access to loads of Russian tech as they start working with each other. And are probably recieving technical support from Russia in return for manpower. This is most likely to be tech relating to ballistic weapons. In particular - tech which would mean that they could launch an nuclear armed missile from a submarine. Which means they could conceivably threaten any city in the US. And that really would throw the cat amongst the pigeons.

Yes he should have wasted more American  lives over there fighting a war they couldn’t win.

Which the Russians learned decades earlier.

Maybe the condescending one should research who coined the phrase and who the 'likers' were.

I won't let them forget.
