If anything it's a sign of how strong the media sector is - in that it was picked up on, reported and there were consequences. Our less thoughtful subjects will just use this as a brush to tar the whole of the BBC about EVERYTHING. 'They're all left leaning, biased, paedo sympathisers' at literally any story about them now for the next 20 odd years. What a time to be alive! You do seem to have a rather selective modus operandi these days. Consider the highlighted sentence and then think about the anti Trump hystericals favourite slurs on here. We've had almost 20 years of bitter remoaning with no sign of an end to that any time soon. Quote

Not good enough. Ok? All it does is give justified fuel to those who claim bias. Most of what the Beeb does is superb, esp with drama, natural history, sport, kids programs etc. Well worth the licence fee. The news is by and large ok, with many top journalists, but agreed needs to sharpen up a bit. As I’ve said before a healthy sign is when those on the left and right are both moaning it’s biased. Shows it’s doing its job - reporting facts whilst challenging our beliefs and opinions. Not a 'mistake'. A deliberate act in order to deceive. Get it right FFS. Quote

Their politics programmes are definitely more to the right in terms of presenters. The fact that heads have rolled shows that they are doing the right thing and not brushing it under the carpet. I just think he's a narcissist, who was born into money and has jostled his way through life by bullying people. He's never said or done anything that I think has been particularly bright. And I've been observing him really closely for the best part of a decade. He can do what he wants in his own country. But he can get fucked if he and his ilk start trying to bully us! Quote

He bought a teenage pageant company and was apparently known to wander round the dressing rooms. Was a close friend of Epstein. He's been found civilly guilty of sexual assault if not criminally it's certainly not a good look. After all his wanging on about releasing the Epstein files in the build up to the election his change of heart has only increased the scrutiny. His best hope is the Michael Jackson defence of at best being a fucking weirdo. Quote
