Most of what the Beeb does is superb, esp with drama, natural history, sport, kids programs etc. Well worth the licence fee. I don't think he's anywhere near as bright as you give him credit for. I just think he's a narcissist, who was born into money and has jostled his way through life by bullying people. He's never said or done anything that I think has been particularly bright. And I've been observing him really closely for the best part of a decade.

There's plenty of ropey behaviour out there whether it crosses into outright noncery will be hotly debated. He bought a teenage pageant company and was apparently known to wander round the dressing rooms. Was a close friend of Epstein. He's been found civilly guilty of sexual assault if not criminally it's certainly not a good look.

After all his wanging on about releasing the Epstein files in the build up to the election his change of heart has only increased the scrutiny.
