I think this is an editorial team getting something badly wrong, being held to account and action being taken.

If anything it's a sign of how strong the media sector is - in that it was picked up on, reported and there were consequences.

Our less thoughtful subjects will just use this as a brush to tar the whole of the BBC about EVERYTHING.

'They're all left leaning, biased, paedo sympathisers' at literally any story about them now for the next 20 odd years.

What a time to be alive!

You do seem to have a rather selective modus operandi these days.

Consider the highlighted sentence and then think about the anti Trump hystericals favourite slurs on here.

We've had almost 20 years of bitter remoaning with no sign of an end to that any time soon.

His supporters are delighted that he's got away with fucking children, so they won't be bothered about a few tweets. Just move on, nothing to see here.

Really? Never had you down as ignore fodder but times change.

One mistake is one too many when you’re funded by the tax payer, so yes they’ve made a few mistakes of late with the (first) Trump Panorama documentary and the Gaza thingy. Not good enough. Ok? All it does is give justified fuel to those who claim bias.

Most of what the Beeb does is superb, esp with drama, natural history, sport, kids programs etc. Well worth the licence fee. The news is by and large ok, with many top journalists, but agreed needs to sharpen up a bit. As I’ve said before a healthy sign is when those on the left and right are both moaning it’s biased. Shows it’s doing its job - reporting facts whilst challenging our beliefs and opinions.

Not a 'mistake'. A deliberate act in order to deceive. Get it right FFS.

You won't hear any paedo accusations from me - not unless I see or hear some evidence.

What do you think about DT possibly suing the BBC?

The BBC do a pretty good job in the main but do make mistakes.  Their politics programmes are definitely more to the right in terms of presenters.

The fact that heads have rolled shows that they are doing the right thing and not brushing it under the carpet.

You live in some sort of parallel fucking universe.

Trump is the biggest screecher going. Closely followed by Farage. Absolute massive thumb sucking toddlers the pair of them.

Both winners.

Eat it.

Are Trumpy and the Trumpettes for or against free speech? I can never work it out.

Seems there is much you can't work out.

I'll be fuming if any of my money ends up in that cunts pocket.

Isn't going to happen but would be highly amusing if it did.

A stunt. He pulls plenty of them. It's been a business tactic of his for decades.

Think about it. Keeps the BBC News bastardry in the headlines for quite a bit longer. Buys more time for the required enema to be effected.

Jesus, this quote marathon is quite the read.

Blasphemy! Does the vicar know you engage in this?

I don't think he's anywhere near as bright as you give him credit for. I just think he's a narcissist, who was born into money and has jostled his way through life by bullying people. He's never said or done anything that I think has been particularly bright. And I've been observing him really closely for the best part of a decade.

He can do what he wants in his own country. But he can get fucked if he and his ilk start trying to bully us!

Bright? You'll have to show me where I have given such credit.

Astute? Much more appropriate.

I have over three years of smiling at the tortured squirming and venting of the 'anti's' to enjoy. That is all.

I don't even think he's particularly astute.

I think he just throws his weight around. Most of the time innefectually.

But he occasionally gets something right (probably accidentally). And his base go delirious. And forget the hundred fuck ups he's made.

I'll never ever understand your love for him? He's the antithesis of what I want a human being to be!

There you go again. Please desist.

The only thing I 'love' is the effect he has on some.

Oh, and "what I want a human being to be". Seriously?

Fred West, Peter Sutcliffe, Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin, Jeffrey Dahmer, Osama Bin Laden, Nancy Pelosi, Pol Pot, Gary Lineker, Chuck Schumer, Greater Thumb Bird..........need I go on?

Fair enough. Maybe your feelings aren't that strong. But that's the way you come across when you talk about him. Or at least the way I interpret it. Like you idolise him.

Misinterpretation is the future.

I see it a lot on here about Trump  being a so called paedo, is there actually any substantive evidence that he has committed offences against young people?

Genuine question

No. I think he's just being judged as guilty by association. Lots of innuendo but no actual evidence as far as I've heard? Got to play a straight bat!

Nope. It’s like when closet gays call others gay

There's plenty of ropey behaviour out there whether it crosses into outright noncery will be hotly debated. He bought a teenage pageant company and was apparently known to wander round the dressing rooms. Was a close friend of Epstein. He's been found civilly guilty of sexual assault if not criminally it's certainly not a good look.

After all his wanging on about releasing the Epstein files in the build up to the election his change of heart has only increased the scrutiny.

His best hope is the Michael Jackson defence of at best being a fucking weirdo.

About the same as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
