clown
RIP Fair play to the fella, he entertained lots of people for many years. Had his time, but remained a decent chap it would seem.

amerste
Got dragged up on a London theatre stage with him many years ago. Very clever with his tricks and audience banter. Don't like speaking ill of the bloke but he annoyed the hell out of people while shopping in our local supermarket. He would get Debbie to go to customer service to announce over the pa system "could Paul Daniels please call at the service desk as his wife Debbie was looking for him". This happened on many occasions. They always say to keep your name in the limelight.

glennboltw
Paul Daniels was very well respected within the magic circle ect until about 10 years ago when he degraded the Blackpool magic convention and Blackpool magicians club (one of the top magic clubs in the UK) I think from that he named his tour something like "back dispite unpopular demand"

Moderators Carlos Posted March 17, 2016 Moderators Share Posted March 17, 2016 Once met a guy who had stuff from the same source, a quid machined out on one half, then attached to a skimmed 5p. It fit perfectly into the hole, 5p on one side, quid on the other, hence you could make it "disappear" with the hollowed quid. That's magic, ho ho. glennboltw
He basically called Blackpool (probably correct) and they way they was going to run the world magic championships (which is called FISM).....he then got banned from going to the event and other magic conventions.
