If it helps, the members of the ST have indicated a help financially to the club to help save the Academy Cat B status. That's going to cost in the region of half a Million as I understand it. Just reading about it now, so a bit grey on the details.

 

Dropping down to Cat C will obviously affect the quality might attract & also reduce significantly the fee we could achieve under a tribunal for a developed under 24 player out of contract. Two damaging effects for the long term of the club imo.

One way or another, the ST will have a big part to play in helping or actually financing the club - who knows whether that will be sooner rather than later.

 

Rather than knock the ST, I'd rather they be in a position to drop finance into the club rather than go down the winding up route again
