might it be with them living and training at altitude?

And the fact that they carry almost zero fat. Even so that was an incredible time. Its very rare to see a WR on the track at olympic games. No pace maker and its usually a cagy affair.

  • All I care about is finishing above Australia in the medal table.

Why are Ethiopians and Kenyans so good at distance running ? Malc?

There was a series based in genetics and biology a while back they theorised that the east African genes gave a certain type of muscles suited to endurance. The west African genes produce excellent quick twitch muscles best for sprinting and short burst type sport.

Probably a similar to reason as to why they can't swim.

British mincer was leading at halfway in the 20k walk but eventually finished sixth.

NO mention on TV during the race, and one on the radio.

We're taking the piss in this cycling. Olympic record for Jason Kenny and then world record in the team race in the space of 20 minutes.

No, no, no...............GB won beating the Aussies pal. Wonderful watching the Aussie news this morning as the sore losers had to praise us through gritted teeth.

Wiggo the Mod. Legend.

Ozzie bottlers.

They don't like it up em. Their silver medallists behind us will be shunned!

That's what pissed me off about them. Those lads who got silver who worked their arsed off for four years and did really well, only missing out by a world record performance will get ignored.

I would go with that and this is for a sport I've not watched much of. The outdoor race on day one bored the living shite of me though much like the TDF.

Don't know how I'll manage to stay up toneet

I'm going to try and stay up...but will no doubt fall asleep
