Sounds like KA backing Deano into a corner , slippery customer our Ken but as has been said he's the only game in town so I hope his cunning plan comes off & we avoid administration.   Cant beli

Interesting KA says he's paid over the odds for DH shares, would possibly indicate he's buyer or partner lined up where he can recoup that quickly.

Agree there. He'd be a shite business man if he didn't have a plan. Don't reckon he has a love for the club like DH but has a love for the money that he might make. So long as that benefits the club then fine.

Got to say a big thanks to Deano hope he's made a turn on his investment deserves it for the undoubted graft he put in to take the club off eddies hands

I don't think Dean actually had any money to put in.

Hope no one points out we're not in London.

Only just over an hour from kings cross when HS2 is built. ( in case they ask)

which is why no matter what KA paid, he can claim he paid "over the odds"

still, his efforts deserve some sort of reward, and if KA has paid him, I dare say he earned it, though I still woud've preferred Shania Twain to be in chage

It's easy to feel sorry for Deano as this was his baby and he oversaw us getting out of the horrible mess we were in. But he never had the cash to see it through.

That's why he needed Bruce Gordon and that's why he later needed King Ken.

Thanks and all that but it's cash we need, not loyalty.

and he missed that chance at wembley.,....NEVER FORGIVE, NEVER FORGET :D

Players not been paid this morning, but bwfc say they will paid by end of the day. Iles trying to whip up more bad news it seems

Yes another non story from lies

Would imagine contracts state paid last day of the month

It only becomes relevant at one minute past midnight

If what has been reported is true (and that's a big if) then KA deserves some more of our respect. DH didn't have any funds to match 50/50 with KA to see us through to the end of the season so it seems that KA was the only game in town. Onwards and upwards!

KA saved the club from going bust and should be applauded for just that. It appears deano hasn't put a bean in and is now on a salary. Again I have no hard feelings about that. He also played a big part in keeping us a float.

Hopefully this is the last of this bollocks and we move on.

Lets see where we end up under KA before we start popping the champagne, up to now he has done a very good job lets hope it continues and one day he sells out to someone who can seriously bank roll the club back to the premier league I am sure he has a better chance of doing that than ED or PG ever did.

True enough, but it also seems that ka doesn't have the money either. Blue marble have been used and he's talking of other investors. Fair enough if he gets it sorted, but still sailing close to the wind.

dunno if this has been touched upon here or by ilies, but according to the telegraph

But the deal hinges on Blumarble, the finance company which funded the involvement of Holdsworth’s Sports Shield consortium in the takeover, providing the green-light.

Blumarble provided Sport Shield with a loan of around £5.5 million including assorted fees, to fund Holdworth’s side of the takeover. The loan, which is understood to be accruing interest at a rate of around £4,000 a day, is secured against club assets, including the Macron Stadium, and permission must be granted by Blumarble to allow Holdsworth to proceed with the sale of his stake.

so £1.5M a year in interest alone!

I can see KA quickly selling the club to a new owner he surely can't bankroll us to the tune of 800k per month.

We have some income the shortfall isn't £800k a month ...... is it?

Football finance is fucking mental - £900k a year accrued interest with blue marble - how's that viable in the state we're in

Hope your right but at 800 k a month that's 3.2 million since start of the season our season ticket sales 10k at average of about £350 is 3.5 million so we've probably spent that leaves sponsorship and pay by game punters 3-4000 paying £20 another 80k per game it's not difficult to think shortfall now must be not far off 800k per month.

There was the money we got for Holding.

We owe macron money. They don't pay us.

I believe we owe them for the kits. But overall they pay us, although that might have been spent
