Sounds like KA backing Deano into a corner , slippery customer our Ken but as has been said he's the only game in town so I hope his cunning plan comes off & we avoid administration.   Cant beli

If ken's putting money in and Dean isn't then I don't blame Ken for wanting him out, that isn't a partnership and anyway partnerships hardly ever work. Give deano an ambassador role at the club and let Ken bring some money into the club. It seemed to me that the whole idea was to get the club on a stronger footing and then sell to someone with real coin, we are a much better proposition than we were 12 months ago so it wouldn't surprise me if someone was already lined up to take over.

I can't see KA having DH around the club when the dust settles.

Up until bury away DH hasn't been seen at the club all season.

He's been at most home games.

Maybe neither of the owners have put in, simply the Holding money has ran out and they need a new backer to keep going. On the surface the club have reduced their costs and spent wisely, but before the Chairman is declared a saint we need to see what his long term plans are. Depressing that our long term injury list are being paid more than some League 1 squads, it was never a quick fix.

Not in the chairmans suite he hasn't.

Never thought he might have his own box mind :)

I just can't be arsed concerning myself with this round of admin talk again. It's not what I signed up for.

Honey G was ace.

Latest tweet from Iles.

"Just spoke to Dean Holdsworth, who says no deal yet finalised. But added "I can't let it get to the stage where peoples jobs are threatened,

He added " I don't want to leave but this is not about me winning or losing, the club belongs to the fans, we will see what happens"

I think we all have a good idea what his longish term plans are........since ED ensured he could not asset strip, he'll want to get the club on an upward curve, hopefully promoted & therefore more attractive to investors, & then sell up for a tidy profit.

If KA & us fans share the same short term target of promotion ( even if for different reasons ) we should back him &  then worry about the longer term later, hopefully with some cash rich, new investors/owners.

The club belongs to who puts the most cash in.

The club belongs to who puts the most cash in.

Probably the fans then.

Either Wigan athletic or sky

Its a good scenario hope it becomes a reality

i've just watched bad santa 2 ,which is worse than the situation we are in..

So basically Iles has got wind of a story, published it before anyone else got there, made fans uneasy, allowed the national press to follow it up, potentially made the players uneasy then found out the truth and there isn't really that much of a story to tell

Pretty much. He should stick to decorating his kids bedroom when there's a story to break.

A simple tweet to KA's lad would've done.

"Is the club on the brink of administration?"

"No"

"Ok thanks"

I think he's a duty to publish what info he has as a fan I like to know what is going on. Marc Iles can't seem to win if he doesn't publish the story and the national press do he looks stupid when he does publish it fans saying not much of a story, my view is a fall out between the two owners which could result in admin should be in the local news. I'm looking forward to hearing who the new investors are and I wonder who'll break that story first.

I think KA definitely had a hand in Iles publishing that first story. Classic tactics forcing Holdsworth to sell by putting pressure on him publicly making it look like he is the bad guy.

KA won't be here in two years. He's here to cut costs, turn things around, repackage and sell us on while making a tidy profit. That Paul Aldridge fella working in the background was alongside Mandaric when he did them same thing with Sheff Wed and Leicester.

Feel sorry for Deano. He was the only game in town when we truly were in the shit. Might forgive him for Wembley now.

Yeah can't knock him for the first story

That's his job and there probably was deadlock at some point

Anyway

Right now we need a positive

Sounds like good news, exactly what we need be interesting to see where the extra investment is coming from, if KA looking to sell DH ambassadorial role might be short lived.

is there a fine line between the end game Eddie played and the one Ken is? Kens game doesn't appear to have gone on as long but the rules look the same ah??

Ones a pariah the other a saint.....

Come back in 6 years time when we've fallen two Divisons and been in the high court facing winidning up petitions for unpaid bills.
