What hasn’t improved? what is post Malone? The album; very difficult to be objective, as I am a Dexys nut, so any new music is a gift from the gods. That said, I am enjoying it, most songs are good and interesting, some are brilliant. Looking forward to seeing it performed as a narrative, all across the country in September. But like you say, if you’re nuts about them it’s always going to be easier. That said, I’d describe myself as nuts about Chris Cornell but even I know he had some bad days in the studio.
