Been listening to Nick Drake all weekend.

Mental that so many talented people all died around 26/27 years of age. Cobain. Winehouse. Hendrix. Morrison. Joplin.

If you asked me to name 3 geniuses, I probably wouldn't say Einstein, Newton...... I'd go Milligan, Cleese, Everett. Sessions.

You alright, hun?

Actually, I always fine that when Autumn rolls around I start listening to shit loads more folk music. Rachel Sermanni, Katherine Priddy, Fegus McCreadie, A Lazarus Soul, Ye Vagabonds, bit of Sandy Denny. Love this at the moment.

And this;

Also, not strictly folk - but still a beautiful song;

I'll jump on with a couple too, love Kerry Devine's work but I think she might have knocked it on the head unfortunately, not seen anything new from her in a while.

PJ Harvey absolutely mesmerising in Albert Hall last night.

I'll love them to the end but fuck me New Order need to shake up their live setlist.

Get everyone raving about to Blue Monday and Temptation then encore it with Atmosphere and LWTUA. Swap it around ffs!

Posted before…. But only a couple more weeks until The Soup Dragons kick start their reunion tour in Manchester. Going to be belting!

Month to go before Queens of the Stone Age at the 02. Been a good while since I've been to an arena concert.

Still never seen her. Had tickets to see her 1991 ish and we just stayed in the pub instead, bunch of dicks that we were

That’s me done for this tour, culminating in a legendary night in Amsterdam.

Kin hell @gonzo Dave Pearce chucking some 4 Strings out in your back yard tonight 😀

The last ever official release by The Beatles is being played on BBC Radio 2 at 2 o'clock. Got a very bitter sweet feeling about it as a Beatles fanatic.

It is November 1, 2097. The human race lives underground in tunnels, hiding from robots and radiation. The sun is shrouded in a cloud of airborne plastic waste. The last Beatles single, synthesised from a cough attributed to Pete Best, is out on Monday.
