Too obvious Shirley? Making me think Pulp even more

Churn ups makes me think it’ll be the Foos but with a lot of help from QOTSA

I know it's hardly groundbreaking stuff but the new Rancid LP is half an hour of grinning from ear to ear.

tried to get tickets but sold out

Pixies doing 3 nights at Albert hall

Great venue for them

Be interested to see how much tickets are which are out Friday

AM & Foos on the same stage, might  need a ticket here

Just seen the courteeners have been buried away on some outer stage

Seen them and was very dissapointed.

Missed out on Dinosaur Jr performing all of Where You Been? (probably in my top three favourite albums of all time) to celebrate 30 years. Piddled off.

Disappointed in Pixies? Now your just contrary.

Saw Dinosaur Jr on Rollercoaster tour with JAMC , MBV and a very young out of place Blur.

The Courteneers vs ChurnUps clash causing hell up . Reckon if Foos are Pyramid the TBA on John Peel will be Pulp

Albert Hall looks favourite again

Yeah, just weren't very good and Frank Black looked completely bored.

Saw DJ this year - a complete highlight - one of my favourite ever gigs.

I came late to the PJ Harvey party  - let England shake is in my top 5 albums, totally brilliant.

I did see them as support to Pearl Jam so probably not the best place to see them to be fair.

They went fairly quickly I think, I missed them as well.

It's at the worst venue in Manchester and probably one of the worst I've ever been to ever.

Even Rancid will struggle to make that place enjoyable

Having watched her sing backing vocals for The Family Cat (all other bands are dogshite) can claim nerd pointage.

I assume they'll do the albums then do other hits, they'll probably knock out the two albums in an hour

Anyway tickets sorted

Back on at 10am for Charlatans

I love The Hives.

Keep coming back to this album. So different from how they started as a bad but amazing anyway. Not usually a fan of live albums but as these are all new songs and they had a great concept in presenting them.

I've played it to death and it still sounds great. Turbines/Pigs is a masterpiece and beautiful live.

Because of the way it came about, it really isn't like a live album. Fair play to them for just carrying on and doing something as bold as this.

The day is here! King Gizzard's new album - PetroDragonic Apocalypse; or, Dawn of Eternal Night: An Annihilation of Planet Earth and the Beginning of Merciless Damnation.

They've gone back to Rats - and made a Metal album that is better than most actual metal bands can muster

It’s jumped them to a must do on Glastonbury clashfinder (thinly veiled guess who got tickets)

Anybody got any other lesser known bands worth checking out?
