Think its had 4 spins on Spotify for me also. Nowt much to oil my loins.

Some bands just knock out shite albums. I've still not got over Courteeners and Concrete Love.

I quite like Concrete Love, few good tunes on it!

Seeing Courteeneers again at Warrington’s neighbourhood Weekender festival this weekend along with

Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds

Jake Bugg

Blossoms

The Sherlock’s

Editors

Miles Kane

The Coral

Reverend & The Makers

Starsailor

DMAs

Louis Berry

Pigeon Detectives

And shit loads more

Not bad for 100 quid for both days

Is 100 quid how much they're paying you to sit through that snooze fest?

I'd happily watch them having a few beers and a smoke

My take on events; the coral are great on a radio etc... Never been impressed live

Starsailor purely on the basis that James Walsh's dad Tony was my headteacher at school, whom I lampooned with a safety pin in my GCSE art exam

Looking forward to Saturday at Neighbourhood. Can't believe folk are takibg the Sherlocks off the list of bands worth seeing. Superb debut album and excellent live.

I left them off because I've never heard of them

Theyre from sheffield arent they

Surely that's enough for you to love em

I do now

I'll listen to them tomorrow

Me too; well I've heard of them, but not really listened to them

Just got my free tickets to Donnington (refuse to call it download) today. Axl, Ozzy....can’t wait!

As the line up for Saturday was a bit pants apart from GnR I gave it a miss.

Ice T and Body Count would be some cracking family friendly fun.

We’re thinking of giving the Friday a miss and driving up on Saturday.

To be honest I’m only there to watch G n R and Ozzy, although going to see L7 as well. Sure I’ll see other stuff I like but nothing is a must watch.

There's plenty of quality bands on over the weekend.

Just the ones that'd have me splashing out for a day ticket to see GnR aren't on the Saturday

I’m not really up on the modern metal scene so just there for the old headliners.

Other half wants to see The Hives but couldn’t name one song by them!

First festival since Glastonbury in 97!

Less than Jake/Reel big fish and Don Brocco announced in Manchester

Foos next Tuesday. Might call it a day after this one. Gets a bit tedious when Dave rattles on and on between songs and every other song is over extended. 25 songs when there's time for 35!

Have no knowledge about support Wolf Alice. Believe Cribs on before them.... will try and get in early if we can.

Then Shed Seven at Castlefield end of the month. Should be a belting Friday night that. Weather permitting.

There were some good bands - Sunday overall was a bit heavy for me, Cradle of Filth were surprisingly tuneful though. Shinedown are possibly the worse thing I’ve ever seen though, and Stone Black Cherry are also dreadful.

Missed Bodycount sunbathing instead, Kreator were perhaps the funniest thing I’ve ever seen and I could only listen to two songs by Baby Metal before I’d got the jist.

The best band (of ones I hadn’t heard) was All Them Witches - despite the shitest name ever they are amazing - like a cross between Kyrus, The Verve, The Doors, - really heavy bass led stoner rock. Their new album is out and worth a listen.

I quite like Black Stone Cherry.

I love Baby Metal but they are a bit of a Marmite act.

A, Wheatus and InMe are playing the same night as RBF and LTJ would have gone but the skankathon wins for me.
