I know years ago that RL clubs had bigger attendances than RU clubs....I believe thats now changed and RU clubs average far higher attendances than RL ones - they still get fuck all though (RU clubs)

 

RU is definitely geared to the national team though, no doubt about that

Used to live in Leicester in the 90s when it was between them and Bath as to who won anything. Think they used to get decent crowds as they extended the ground

 

Can't see Exeter pulling many in though

Aviva Prem average gate last season was 13,500, with plenty sell outs.

 

Not checked Super League but it's generally around 10,000 with very few full houses, so RU is definitely bigger these days.

 

Super League's a better watch for me though, definitely getting down to Leigh this season. £20 surprised me though, was expecting about £15
