Straight up and down doesn't happen. Bottom 4 play top 4 in a mini league, top 3 go into super league and 4th plays the 5th on a one off play off.

 

To finish lower than the highest championship club who have a wage bill half that of a super league club, you need to be a bit shit.

 

Realistically we want to be stay in the league and continue the growth. 3 years ago we were a part time team full of roofers and plumbers so to get a full time 30 man squad in SL is a huge change. It's like athy colls going into the football league in 3 years.

 

Personally I reckon there are 7 or 8 teams stronger than us on paper so injuries, rub of the green, confidence etc means we could finish anywhere between 6th and 12th.

I agree, It needs to stop. The commentary team suggested that there could be some retrospective action taken as it was happening too often. Maybe it takes a 1 game ban for unsporting behaviour to send a message to the rest of the game to stop it.

My nephew has a season ticket at Salford after going there with his mates from Walkden.

 

I'm Westhoughton and got loads of Leigh mates, so always taken an interest in Leigh.

 

Bolton in general is a massive untapped area for Super League.

Fucking great win and lots of bolton fans in the north stand for the first time loved it. Friday night rugby is working and plenty of fans making a night out of it. When micky higham went over there must have been a grands worth of ale hit the roof.
