Wanderers 0-0 Bury

A few folk apprehensive for this one ?

Why ?......they are utter utter fucking tosh.

Perfect scenario....us to wallop them again and go up, they get relegated again.

Worst scenarios....us to wallop them again and go up, they fortunately survive.

Over 20k on for their Cup Final.

Form is temporary,class is permanent.

  • We are all Lincoln.

  • But if your home crowds are low and your away crowds are low then away compared to home is likely to be a fairly decent ratio. There isn't a league ground in the country we could go to and try to get

I hate everyone equally. I can find some injustice, agro or a bad pie on every club we play. No mater how tenuous. Take Saturdays opponents, Chesterfield. They beat us at home in the cup back in the B

I deeply hate anyone within 30 miles of us, I hate some further away but mostly i'm just indifferent with anyone not local.

Do I need help?

Possibly. Can I suggest that you start looking for it at least 31 miles away?

Apart from Celtic which is for non footballing reasons the only teams outside of our locality who I despise are wolves and Sunderland.

This game could be "the one" looking at ours and Fleetwoods preceding games.

Now that would be ????????

But bury means fuck all remember

But bury means fuck all remember

To you ,they obviously do. To many, the very much don't.

I've seen us play them 3 times in 25 years watching bolton and I've never met a Bury fan in my whole life.

I understand why they would register for some, but anyone under the age of 35 that doesn't live near bury doesn't give a flying fuck about club with 3k gates.

The "match" not the opposition.

Hear what you saying and can see what you're saying What does surprise me is the amount on here that have only seen us play them a couple of times in 25 years when I saw them play them probably 18 out of the 20 times we played them between 86 and 95.

Maybe I had more incentive to go to both the home and away games given I loved 20 minutes bus ride again although it appears a few on here did neither

Thinking about it, I've seen them...

In the play offs but I was about 5 and can only remember going on the pitch at the end.

in the cup at burnden when Luther Blisset scored. 93

Home when we all laughed at them 98ish

Away on that Friday 98ish.

We've played em a couple of times since then and they were cup games I didn't go to.

It's a bit like the Blackpool thing for me. Most bolton folk don't give a hoot about em. I was bought up hating them because I spent all week scrapping at school for being a bolton fan haha

if you love going on buses for short periods of time, then it's no wonder you saw us play them so much

Haha. Yeah same with me re bury as had one in my class and had about 6 fights in the 5 years at secondary school. Plus he's a bellend anyway.

Blackpool don't register with me and like we've figured out definitely an age and a location driven thing who we all despise.

Apart from Wigan who appear a constant in everyone's nuclear bomb wish list

Couldn't be arsed editing it. Loved a trip to Radcliffe borough preseason as well. Only 10mins. Loved it

Bury is at the bottom of my road, literally. I've never seen one of them. My gym is there, the only Shaker also wears a United top. They aren't even a real club.

Lived in bury my whole life, known about 4 bury fans in that time, one of whom was a creepy next door neighbour who lived with his mam and dad into his 50's when they passed away and he inherited the house.

Been to every game between us since i started going in 92, and i view them very much the same way as yoonited fans must view us.

Laughing at their hatred of our far bigger and much more sucessful club, but id be hacked off if we got beat by them.

It's very disappointing to be in the same division as them. A two division gap feels about right. I hope we can do our bit in correcting.

There will be 3000 odd bellends in the away section - all baying for blood and hoping for our failure. That's all the motivation I need. For 90 minutes anyway - then they'll disappear back into obscurity until we play them again in about 20 years.

FWIW - I know 1 Bury. He was the weird lad in our class at school. It was almost like he said he supported Bury just to draw attention to himself. I've never actually heard him say he's been to Giggle Lane though.

Be closer to 2000 than 3000 i reckon

Very much this^^^

It seems most Bury fans aren't actually Bury fans at all. They describe their allegiances as "Bury and <insert name of fairly successful club> (Usually City or United but increasingly, these days, Chelsea. Maybe even Leicester after last season.

Tom Pope had some kind of meltdown on twatter last night apparently.

Why these cunts get involved in this kind of thing I'll never know

Ooo any details?

Said he wanted to smash some Sheffield Wednesday players face in and knock him out in 5 seconds.

Booting off with various others all night too.

Just a Bit of bantz apparently.

United fans at least those fans from Manchester area don't view us in a similar light to how you view Bury I know 100s of reds they fucking despise Bolton WFC and that warms the cockles of my heart.

Sat next to a Swinton born and bred yoonited fan at the moment and outside of inter friend banter including references to Nat being a 'goalie shoving bastard' he has no real hatred to us.

My mate who now lives in Orlando but hales from Droylsden also couldn't give a shit about us.

You need to know proper united lads you'll soon change your tune.

Both of em have been all over Europe watching them so I'd say they count as proper yoonited fans.

Unless you mean middle aged man who get in to fights over people supporting a different footy team?

There's a shitload of united fans that really hate Bolton but won't admit it,

There's also plenty of Wanderers fans who despise Bury but won't admit it.

I can't be arsed with all that nonsense to be honest. Just not interested with any club but Bolton
