He’s not going to be able to change that until January at the earliest. It might not even be Koeman’s fault they’ve been left so short up top, but somebody wants stringing up for their lack of recruitment. It's a strange one with Ross Barkley. When he burst on to the scene I thought he was going to be the next big thing. Same as I though with Jack Wilshere - but for one reason or another it's not really happened for either of them (to a world class level at least). People are overly critical of the lad, and too much is expected. It is ok to be a good player playing for your country now and again....some fans think thats not good enough and want him out....strange.
