When he burst on to the scene I thought he was going to be the next big thing. Same as I though with Jack Wilshere - but for one reason or another it's not really happened for either of them (to a world class level at least). Do you reckon there's still potential for him to be a world beater or did he just peak early?
December 29, 20178 yr Wilshere looks great when he's not injured (obvs) it's amusing that with 6 months left on his contract he's back fit and playing well no doubt he'll get injured between signing a fat new contract and the world cup

People are overly critical of the lad, and too much is expected. It is ok to be a good player playing for your country now and again....some fans think thats not good enough and want him out....strange.
