Whatever gets done or doesn’t get done will happen whoever is in charge.   As I’ve said countless times it doesn’t matter who’s in the hot seat.

Well, Osborne hasn't got great form. His austerity decimated public services to the point they are almost ineffective.

Putting to one side for a moment how unfit I believe Truss to be, she is another a little light on detail and a Boris Mk2 in knickers we do not need (TM Spider)

PM completely absent during a brief national emergency... Leading party too busy fighting for who's next. Yet the civil servants & other experts in their fields keep things ticking over.

I'd rather Sunak. This winter is going to be brutal for many, Sunak has shown he's happy to spend cash when it's really necessary.

Truss on the other hand hasn't, and with the inevitable lurch to the right, will probably tell the poor to just go out and earn more.
