Well my friend, much as his eccentricity which I like so much contributed to his downfall, there was a well orchestrated campaign, starting the day after the election, to cutdown such a tall poppy led by the filthy gutter press. If the Stockport MP wants to bandy about the word 'scum' she would likely be best served by aiming it at those guttersnipes.

I suspect her turn will come eventually where she feels the sharpness of their vitriol.

I too dearly hope that I am wrong and one of these two pulls a giant rabbit out of a hat. I suspect however that the muckspreading by the media will have tainted both of them in the eyes of the electorate whereas PM would have been pretty much a clean break.
