It's what they would have wanted. Branded German casual sports shoes. Fashionable rememberancing.

You missed out the country of origin.

Not getting any better for Johnson, the useless fucker.

And they haven’t even got to Cummings yet.

That's why he got his GBN annoucement out before this - he knew it was going to end very badly.

Some of these messages are beyond belief. We were led by absolute morons. I hope there are more calls for an earlier GE after this.

They took the British public for useful fool for their own ends, and sadly people fell for it. I hope we have learnt our lesson as a country and sanity in government is restored soon.

Just GDP of various countries since Brexit referendum and date.

So we're only beating Germany?

The price of pretty much everything has gone up so GDP should be increasing in percentage terms.

The whole place sounded like a shambles.

You’ll know that inflation is stripped out of such comparisons, I expect?

I don’t think it says that?

What do you think it says then?  You posted it, presumably to 'say' something?

It shows that we are doing OK compared with certain (similar) countries and the EU.

genuine question

do all countries inc visits to GPs in the GDP calculation?

another genuine question, wasnt it something like 1.75 euros to the pound about 20 years ago, why is it now 1.14

i know somebody will tell me its good news, but thats not the question.  TIA

Just taken a bunch of flowers down to our local ticket office  - they do loads for the community so it's massive victory today for them. Nice for it to happen on the night they are throwing a free Halloween party for the kids - it's brilliant, totally rammed. Then the kids go off trick or treating.

Alas, I've got a press night so leaving it to the other half to do all the answering the door work. Love that bit.

It says that since Q2 2016, we're behind Spain, France and the EU average, but ahead of Italy and Germany.

However, Italy have smashed our performance since Q4 2019, we've matched France and still lag behind Spain & the EU in general.

So, yes, we're beating Germany. How shit must they be?

I’ll take a look about the GP visits.

the pound moves around against various currencies, due to supply and demand. It was €1.03 v the Euro in 2008, for example.

It’s not the shitshow we were promised after leaving the EU. Have look at unemployment in Italy and Spain, far worse than ours perhaps the slack in employment levels helps growth… in fact I’m sure it does.

Yeah, it's been bloody brilliant.

Well done team.

Amusing how the left didn’t believe a word from Cummings at the time, but now treat it as gospel!
