Not comparing owt, just commenting that it’s amazing that Labour are getting away with no hassle about Nick Brown, who has obviously done summat serious. But que sera sera.

Maybe so but that is one bloke under investigation and I think suspended so how is it remotely comparable?

You comparing alleged rape versus what looks like a workplace disciplinary is very, very strange thinking.

You have no idea what the allegations are. You thinking it’s workplace related is very strange thinking.

He was suspended from the party in 2022.
Given no one is reporting why assume covered by restrictions either as a police investigation or court order.

Whatever it is, it doesn’t seem to warrant an arrest.  Hardly rape then is it?

Not maybe. A fact. No one knows what the allegations against Brown are. I’m guessing they are serious. How serious, we don’t know.

I gave you a detailed explanation last week. I really don’t think you read or listen to anything I say so it’s pretty much pointless replying to you. Even now I regret writing this.

That’s what I’d expect a Tory to say

A politician investigated by his own party for wrongdoing we know nothing about, and has been going on for over a year, thay we have no evidence of. Or, a politician being investigated by the police for a suspected sexual crime. Take your choice.

😊 How many times are you going to say that. Is it lefty thing to have personal digs? Is it because I posted that Rachel Reeves thing this morning? I’d grow a thicker skin if I were you. There’ll be a lot more to come.👍

See there you go again

Promising a future of posting derogatory items about Labour.

You seem to prefer that to Tory attacks.

Just an observation.

Which, as I say, is fine.

It’s your thing. Be proud, man.

Derogatory? Don’t think I’ve ever said anything that could be described as derogatory either about Labour or any poster on here. I’m not about to change.  I couldn’t say the same about others.
You can prove me wrong if you want.

Not personal at all. Just think your thought process is a bit strange on this subject.

My thought process may be strange in your eyes. What is normal? Calling me strange is another thing. That’s personal.

Normal doesn’t try and equate rape with some unknown thing that doesn’t warrant an arrest.

I apologise if you thought I was being personal.

Brown has had rumours surrounding him and rent boys for years. It was even referenced in Tony Blairs autobiography. It should be hastily added that all rumours have been unfounded which is probably why it is never referenced but insinuated.

You tend to respond to any negative posts about the Tories with some unrelated post that has negative connotations about labour

its fine. It’s your thing.

I’m merely pointing it out as you’ve always said you’re a Labour voter so it comes across as a trifle odd

There are countless negative posts about the Tories every day. Show me where I have responded. I was the one who first mentioned Blunt today. I have also clarified a few claims that he was charged. He wasn’t.
I am NOT a Labour voter. I will NOT be voting Tory. I believe that Labour will be worse than the Tories. I’ve told you this before. I’ll probably have to tell you again tomorrow.
I couldn’t give a shit who you vote for. Why ask me?

Maybe, maybe not. The shadow cabinet? Do the electorate relate to them? At the end of the day, the voters, me and you, will have a choice. Based on what we have in front of us now, I’d go Conservative. If anyone can convince me that Labour (the only credible opposition) can really form a government better than what we have now, I’ll be happy to listen.
It really is easy to knock and criticise a government in power.

Just watched Question Time, as one does on a Thursday evening.

Hard to believe Sayeeda Warsi was a former Tory MP, Cabinet Minister & Party Chair. She speaks quite a bit of sense.
It'll never catch on.
