Well, Braverman could follow Burnham's example in Greater Manchester, but that wouldn't get all those people in the home counties who never have to deal with a homeless issue all riled up. Imagine becoming a public servant and then just using it as a platform to kick the weakest in our society for personal gain? Sort of goes against the job title.

The most embarrassing thing about all that was our Prime Minister acting as a shit Jonathan Ross to a tech bro. Is that how far we have fallen? Wince inducing.

Anyway, Trump's having a bit of a mare in court, Johnson is having one long bad day in the Covid enquiry. These visionaries seem to have got wonky crystal balls.

Trump got out of his car and immediately called the judge a racist.

And it's obviously working as you've just shared their video. Mary Richardson actually slashed the painting in 1914 to raise awareness of the suffragette movement, and look how that worked out.

Neither this nor the actions of Mary Richardson were to "raise awareness", they were to force a change in government policy through direct action

Thankfully, politicians haven't yet given in to the demands of Just Stop Oil

Ah yes, because all activists think drawing attention to their causes through public stunts will result in a Government instantly changing their policies. 🤦‍♂️

What?

Do you honestly think the Suffragettes and Just Stop Oil carried out these stunts thinking "If we damage this painting, the Government will give us exactly what we want!"?
