I like Gary Neville.

Hes bang on with a lot he says and hes ace a football pundit.

Good on him for getting involved in politics. Hes a clever bloke and a big personality.

Rather that than some of the gimps we normally have to listen to.

He should fuck politics off and concentrate on his day job! He’s a full on bull shitter, which I suppose would make him a decent politician.

He’s a complete buffoon if he/them Can’t win the next election. Should be a landslide.

It won't be a landslide. We are in a much more fractured political world now.

Absolutely, do I agree with lots of what he says, no. Is he putting his head on the line, yes. As he said, read the room.

If Gary fucking Neville can get this it's shameful the government can't.

What's he said that's bullshit?

People with money should contribute more to society.

That seems to be an issue with some.

@tomskiwill not be happy about this Gary Neville love in

I sat and listened to him give a rousing speech to kids (who were all sat in front of him) about how Salford city was his baby and the kids were the future. I listened to him tell them he would have them the best facilities to train in with the best kits and equipment. Last week there were approx 40 8-10 year olds without a league to play in, almost every age group is short of a kit, not once has he been down to watch them and assist with training (which he said he would be doin), I could go on but you will soon be bored and there’s no link so you probably wouldn’t believe it.

Gary Neville is a cunt who is just smarter than the average footballer. Which means he only needs an IQ that stretches beyond 40.

Talkest dwarf.

A United one at that.

He’s right about the scousers, that’s all.

The cunt.

Carry on.

Doesn’t pay his fucking bills either.

cunt.

Those individuals are still paying the highest rate.

And if, (yes bif if) it works and everyone starts earning more through growth, then those folk will still be paying significant tax, and maybe even more than they do now.

I quite like Neville as a pundit, though a privately educated grammar school multi millionaire won't sit well with some of his peers. A superficial lefty perhaps?

So you can only talk about fairness when you come from Johnson Fold? What rubbish.

Stop trying to defend the indefensible. It's really sad that Northerners are trying to undermine anyone defending the idea of fairness for those outside London.

What do you actually want him to do, apart from agree with you?

I know this isnt an original point, but how is it giving rich folk a lump of cash isnt inflationary

No love in, he's still a toc h lamp, but he's doing something, and he is a bit more articulate than most modern footballers.

You dont have to work down the pit or live on a council estate to be left leaning with politics.
