The German chap has used common sense from the left party saying Brexit has been a bit rubbish all round.

Not much of a trade deal

I’ll see if it’s helped though.

The Companies on the up though.

That’ll be comforting to the people being let go, I’m sure.

Winners and losers,

Hopefully get a cracking redundancy package and I’m sure they’ll be in demand elsewhere.

Deary me

I’ve experienced redundancy twice, did not get much of a payout, but it’s not the end of the world. I’m sure RR redundancy package will be enhanced, they’ll be skilled workers and hopefully in demand, there are plenty of good jobs out there, so I’m not sure what the deary me is all about.

So it’s a good thing they’re firing 2,500 folk.

Lets bookmark this.

It’s no wonder you tick the wrong box and are usually wrong about everything, your interpretation of what I said here is as usual incorrect, inaccurate and you guessed it wrong.

Try reading something leave it an hour or 2 to permeate your slow witted brain and then comment. 🤣

I’m just impressed that you can turn 2,500 job losses into a positive. Certain as you are that all 2,500 are getting a lottery cheque and a job offer from BAe systems the very next day.

It’s Doublethink in full flow.

It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grammes a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be REDUCED to twenty grammes a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

I think you may have missed the worldwide quote. In the hundreds in the UK. Another company restructuring, another company cutting jobs. It’s been going on since Adam was a lad. What is it about this that has got you so concerned?

Fair enough.

It’s actually good news.

I’ll revise the way I view redundancy from now on.

Thanks for the advice chaps.

I was brought up to respect my elders.

So they must be right.

It’s a relief really, because the second a job is lost under a Labour government, we now know it’s simply a reset and an opportunity.

There is no bad news 🥰

Article says all the UK jobs are non engineering, whatever that might be

And it's been anticipated for months

Just a reset.

No bad news in UK PLC

Fair enough. I have to say when I experienced redundancy, I went into the company on behlaf of the whole team to personally thank each an everyone of the management for such an incredible opportunity. The lad whose wife was pregnant at the time bought them all champagne, he couldn't believe his luck.

It just seems no one is actually reading the article before going off on one

"The restructuring of its non-engineering workforce has been anticipated for months, and will be among the most significant steps taken so far by Tufan Erginbilgic, who took over as Rolls-Royce's chief executive at the start of the year.

His move to cut costs and reduce duplication across the company's operations will please City analysts and investors who believe there is significant scope to improve its efficiency.

Since his appointment, Mr Erginbilgic has described the company as "a burning platform" and said one of its main subsidiaries had been "grossly mismanaged", underlining his reputation as a plain-speaking executive."

Watching a CPD video. Seen it before.

But every day is a school day.

Redundancy = good news.

I always thought otherwise. I know the truth now 🥰

I might lay a few lads in the factory off later. The ones with the most responsibilities. Early Xmas present.

Actually, this morning I'm in Soho House (Dean Street branch) enjoying a lovely coffee waiting for a meeting with a producer for a new project.

You enjoy your day, BB.

Nice to see Labour against the siting of the anti Israel stand next to the cenotaph.

Precisely.
