The poorest in society will ultimately be the biggest losers of brexit. So many good community and youth projects have lost vital funding.

When Labour get into power they can do what they want with the money, it’s their call not the EU and that’s exactly how it should be.

I swear Mounts lives in an alternate reality - Mounts for the 5 billionth time - we always did. Refer back to any of the thousands of posts that explains how the funding works - they have links as well. Facts are friends!

We have complete autonomy and control, ALL our money is used not what EU chooses to give us back less a hair cut.  And if the UK public don’t like what the government of the day spend or the level of funding then we can kick them out. That’s the difference, It’s not difficult to grasp...

The fact that you have to ask tells it all. Google is your friend.
It really shouldn’t have to come to that though.

What happened?

Has it been on the news?

How did you find out?

Sorry

First I've heard of it too.

Maybe that's the point?

Anyway, fuck him straight off back.

No one has commented on all these murders in London either

I surprised Bobby didn't with it being Kahn's London and all that

‘A Moroccan asylum seeker has appeared in court charged with murdering a pensioner in Hartlepool.

Ahmed Alid, 44, is accused of stabbing to death 70-year-old Terence Carney in the early hours of Sunday morning and also attempting to murder a fellow asylum seeker at the hostel in which he was living.’

Can’t think of a reason this wouldn’t have been on the news. Can you?

Strange isn't it

I guess events elsewhere have overshadowed it

You’re in IT aren’t you. Could you not make that a little bit more user friendly. Ie. The standard WW poster type. Like me.

If you ask your friend Google about "Hartlepool murder" you'll find loads if not all major news outlets covered it

Which is what the screen grab I posted showed

Oddly as a random aside

GB news didn't, or at least I can't find them mentioning it

Don't for one second think I'm suggesting you watch GB news

Still

Odd, I thought

Must just be an MSM thing

Not a clue what GB news has to do with it.
Anyway, for those who haven’t heard.

As I said random aside

I've shown that every *MSM" outlet covered it

Your link helps prove this

The EU money NI/Wales/Scotland benefitted from is gone.  Im sure a labour government will work better with devolved governments on supporting these community projects but the main point is that brexit has caused a significant loss in funding and that is unlikely to be replaced.

I wouldn't bother, it's been explained to him how it works time and time again and he just ignores it, or he doesn't understand it. I'm not sure which after all this time.

Best to leave him in MountsWorld, saves everyone a lot of time.
