Aye, because someone who wants to be an actor can't do voluntary work for a political party, and Channel 4 have obviously paid him to pretend to be a racist while using his real name. 🤦‍♂️

To be fair, you can be an actor and still be a prick in the world of politics.

Fuckin ell what a car crash for Biden.

This can't carry on, the blokes fucked :(

Probably worth watching the entire thing rather than judging him on a 10 second clip.

Channel 4 (and ITV for that matter) are even more left leaning than the BBC (hard to believe it's possible).

Somehow they have wheedled their way into news media as well as the education system. This is a swamp which needs draining. I wonder if Starmer will follow Bidens lead and try to weaponise the judicial system too?

Farage will be the one he goes after if he descends to this deplorable level, not the Conservatives. The latter are likely to self destruct if recent events are anything to go by.

I have to admit that shocked me. So I checked it out.

He didn't actually say that.

Whoever the Labour guy in question is made a remark that I would construe as being broadly supportive (but tongue in cheek) to someone else who said that, on social media, in 2019.

The way NF portrays it is like it's been his campaign slogan.

It doesn’t get better watching it in full. He clearly doesn’t know exactly what is happening.

It's not quite the gotcha she thinks it is. Actors can be racists too.  Bad Actors have other jobs.

As for Tommeh- someone on a watsapp group shared his latest shocking video.  People shopping and chatting on a high street in Paris.  BUT, get this, some of them were black. Macron's Paris.

Being taken wildly out of context. They were talking about people coming over in small boats. Not legal Bangladeshi immigrants.

The country is in this position because the Conservatives have allowed around 80,000 migrants in on the south coast with no processing is using our money to house them in hotels indefinitely and therefore there is no simple or easy solution out of the mess. And we are in an election where I don’t think there is much appetite for the answer being, just grant them all amnesty to stay. Maybe I’m wrong. But I’m not seeing it. 45% of those coming in are thought to be from safe countries where we can process them and return them to. Which is what we should do. Rather than spend hundreds of millions of pounds to fly maybe 1000 a year to Rwanda.

I’m sure the truth will come out. 👍

Seems to be a bit of both. The Labour guy said last week he’s standing for black and brown people, the tears comments was indeed from 2019.

That's subjective, but watching the full thing is obviously more representative than a 10 second clip of his most dire moment.

There does seem to be a contradiction, last week they were fit and healthy males coming here for no reason and now we can not send anyone back because they come from dangerous countries ?

Surely first thing we need to do is process them to see if they are genuine asylum seekers or not. If not fuck em off. And get resource behind processing the backlog .

Tommy does have a fund me page set up again, it is asking for money using dollars so think it is a new one rather than one he has on an ongoing basis.

Sadly though Cheese. I think that 10 second clip is all that is going to land with the majority of the electorate.

Didn’t realise that Tommeh isn’t even English

True. As "You'd be in jail" did in his debate with HC.

I didn't know so I've just looked it up. What he actually said was......

"My grandparents who came to this country in the 40s and 50s, who had to deal with ‘no dogs, no Blacks, no Irish’, and so many other people like myself who came here with that level of racism – it felt like all of that history had culminated to this fight”

“It became about the future of this country and who and who isn't welcome here"

“I feel like I'm doing this for every Black and brown person in the country, and doing this for a lot of working-class people in the country."

Which to me sounds a lot more palatable. Particularly as he said this in the context of a question about how it felt to be battling against Farage for Clacton. That's just my opinion though. I can see how other people might read it differently.

Which was a very funny line to be fair 😁

But yeah, I agree......

Exactly. It’s a hard solution because it needs investment and takes time but there is no easy fix. Sunak bandying Rwanda round is a nonsense. They aren’t taking close to the numbers we have and it’s hideously expensive to do, plus will involve keeping people in hotels for years and years….also at huge expense. If someone has a genuine claim then we are better off processing them and letting them find work to actually contribute to tax than we are spending billions to keep them here for years and to fly them to Rwanda when they say they can take them.

Absolutely. It's blatantly obvious what needs to happen. Someone needs to convince Biden to stand down citing medical reasons or whatever, then parachute someone like Gavin Newsom in. He'd walk it.

For some reason this made me think of an old BBC news presenter - who I can picture but who's name I can't remember.

Who is it I'm thinking of? 😁

No idea.

This is the guy I'm talking about. If he doesn't replace Biden in the next few weeks, America is fucked in my opinion.
