Bad day for Sir Keir this.

Suspect it may cost him his job.

Mandelson was clearly damaged goods and he should have known better. Yes, the peado cunt lied to Starmer when discussing the job, but it was daft to go near him at all.

Shame, as he’s got some dull, necessary work done, but I’d expect this of Johnson/Truss types, not Starmer.

i think he’ll go for this

Get Lammy in

Highly doubt it, but stranger things have happened I suppose.

Aye. Might have been my ability to spell eh?

'Fruitcake'. From him

Ginger cake.

Well, i've done ok with having dyslexia - actually works well for copywriting, you sort of come at it from a slightly different place mentally apparently (although I'll never be a proof reader) and didn't hold me back educationally. Did brilliantly well in English.

I hope you were good at your job because your soft skills of empathy, and critical thinking aren't often on display here.

Is it right that's he's admitted he knew before he appointed him that Mandelson was still in contact with Epstein after his conviction?

Yep.

Stupid

He’s a bit binary for that.

He likes what he likes and he says what he says.

The only subtle nuance I’ve ever really noticed is the latent homo stuff.

Aye

was poor judgement and we all know how politics works by now.

A shame, because he was the dull, plodding grafter we needed (ignore the screechers, he’s actually done ok on most things)

I suspect you're going to be deeply disappointed again.

I’m not so sure. Hope I’m wrong but this one is pretty bad. Associating with anyone tarnished by Epstein is suicidal.

In which case, Farage is done....

Neither was Starmer.

No, but he’s associated himself with someone who was and that’s poisonous.

Im hoping he just tells everyone to fuck off, because the levels of impotent seething and hypocrisy will be staggering, but just have a feeling this (combined with a few restless backbenchers) might cost him.

We'll see, but I'm pretty confident it won't.

How many do you know to be restless? I read maybe 12/15 but you may know the precise numbers.

Do you ever wonder whether this country is becoming unmanageable?

Don’t worry, we will be a world super power if Keir steps down and Lammy steps up.

When you thought it couldn’t get worse than the tories……enter Labour

If it is then he should go.

I can't imagine he would be that stupid/morally reprehensible - but the truth will put I suppose.

See despite all this. I don't see anything even approaching peak Bojo. Let alone Liz Truss.

But we all see things differently I suppose.

I don’t know the numbers. I watched it live and it looked a bit like a howling mob behind him, to be honest. But you might be right. Ten to fifteen, if you like.
