But then it seems people now want to vote for any party led with someone they can go for a drink with, makes them laugh or irritates someone they've never met but for some reason don't like them. Agree that recent Tory/Labour governments have failed to deliver on what’s important to folks and/or people have felt they haven’t delivered. Disagree that populist/authoritarian parties offer any solution to these problems. Hollow promises by pseudo politicians who are themselves taking money from dubious/billionaire sources. Can’t believe the irony is lost on folk that Farage et al claim to be “of the people” and yet they are in the pockets themselves of the rich elites.
