What a legacy she left us with 🙄 I recall her sayong New Labour were doing things she wouldn't dare propose when in office! Don't forget she always vigorously supprted a single market free trade European Economic Community but did oppose super-state federalism and monetary union. Not sure how her support for European free trade sits with Reform, they appear to support her views on maintaining national sovereignty only. Edited January 30 by Dimron Quote

Migration has exponentially increased since 1066 when the global population was 400 million, compared to nowadays when the global population is 8 billion!? How has that happened?! Well privatising water was the most stupid of her decisions. Zero competition in the market, utter lunacy. Also, the government should have maintained a large stake in all the companies formed post sell off. Quote

Base rules of immigration that I subscribe to: 1. A society accept immigrants 2. In return the immigrant agrees to live according to core values of that society even if it means abandoning certain traditional customs of their own 3. If the immigrant assimilates to a sufficient degree then they can become full members of that society In addition, if a society cherishes liberal values, they have a right to limit immigrants from countries with intolerant and anti-liberal views The debate is all about how deeply must the immigrant absorb the new values and how long should this process take before they become full members Quote
