So Starmer employed an innocent man then?

You know, if we’re playing it to the absolute letter of the law like.

I would prefer the description "slimy cunt"

You can polish this any way you like. It’s still a big turd.

But you know that too. 😉

Of course it is.

But the fact that this has happened in the middle of the biggest political shitshow the world has ever seen, means he may just survive.

He’s shit, but everyone else is much much shitter. And peadophiles. By comparison, he’s angelic.

Aye, there's a whole shed load of people who actually knew and hung about with Epstein getting off scot free it would seem

I don't think he should go and don't think he will

Be interesting to see what the trump and (ex) Tory defenders think he should do

"It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place... Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation... In the name of God, go!".

There are two of them according to my AI. David Spring and Nathan Poole. Both of whom were pled guilty to violent disorder for which they were imprisoned. They're probably both out by the way as I think they for 18 months and would have served belf.

They might have got some extra time of it was 'racially aggregated' - but that wasn't why either of these two men were sent to prison.

Stop pissing on my parade.

It's not shambolic though is it. I'd argue it's less shambolic than the past few governments by some considerable margin. There are going to be controversies and rumours in every Parliament.

And I don't think your equal and opposite theory has ever made any sense. Unless you're of the opinion that we should now expect a groundswell of public opinion in the other direction? A a swing towards the left? It's overly simplistic. But I think you know that anyway! 😁

PS - predicting the success of Uni Emery isn't exactly Nostradamus level stuff given his record at Sevilla and Villarreal 😉

Is that anything like Uni De Montfort?

Of course you'd argue it is less shambolic. It's the red tinged spectacles.

He isn't the most unpopular PM in history for no reason. But you knew that anyway.

She's pretty much the only shining light that I see on either front bench these days

One step nearer to Londonistan?

Being investigated for "misconduct in public office" which I believe is such a vague offence it'll all be swept under the carpet... he fed sensitive cabinet information to a financier (Epstein) for a relatively paltry sum of money... he was probably blackmailed in some way or had a misplaced sense of friendship.

For cashing in while in public office you really need to look at the Tories from Cameron onwards.

Far more than that apparently. Even Downing Street security issues such as subterranean tunnels.

Starmer really is a dead man walking. How would we know?

He's not the most unpopular PM in history. He's the 2nd as things stand.

Liz Truss had worse approval ratings just prior to leaving.

The fact that the two most unpopular PM's are within the last couple of years probably tells us more about the UKs perception of politicians, the economy post COVID and Brexit and how divided we are as a nation - than it does about the relative competency of the PM in question.

I imagine the same thing will happen if/when Farage ever takes over. You'll have a significant proportion of the country who immediately want rid. He'll have very high approval ratings amongst his support. And very low approval ratings everywhere else. He won't really be able to do much to improve things economically, cut adrift in the mid Atlantic as we now find ourselves. And they will probably decline even further once the people who love him don't see much difference being made.

And I don't think think is red tinged spectacles. Keir Starmer is demonstrably not the worst Prime Minister on any metric that I can think of. I'd be considering Anthony Eden, Neville Chamberlain, Lord North and Liz Truss? All Tories of course - but maybe that's my red tinged spectacles again.

Anyway - Keir's current approval rating is 18% Maggie Thatchers was 25% at its lowest, in a far less polarised world. And she went on the win the next General Election.

Let's see what happens in the unlikely event that he's still in charge at that point. A bit of continuity and stability wouldn't go amiss mind. And a better understanding about the time it takes to turn things around from the general public.

Sorry Satan - But I don't have the intellectual capacity to fully appreciate the nuances of Mr Barton's argument here.

Whatever it is. It's way too deep for me! 😁

Another good showing from this Mon on QT last night.

6th appearance in 4 months for a man that's paid for his position at the company he represents.

But I'm lead to believe the BBC has a left wing bias?

Lots of folk saying the lad who asked the skeletons question was a plant, he was nt. But if you watch this he has been on telly before. I have known him for years, @mickbrown might have been before your time at Bradford.
