fake news, even back then. obviously no one knows for sure. but wieghing up the probabilitys i would say he's dead. mainly because hitler couldnt hide anywhere on the planet. no matter how few people knew folk would blab. i prefer the lucan thing more. no body at all in that case.

he took the Hess route to Britain and then was kept in isolation on Scotland's Gruinard Island under the cover of the non-existent anthrax testing that kept it isolated until the sham "clean up" in the 80s.  Fishermen who photographed an oddly familiar figure on the far beach (away from the mainland) mysteriously found themselves drowning when their boats foundered in calm seas. Submarines saw to that, as the government at the time realised their mistake in taking him alive. Edward VIII had offered to act as a go-between (having met Hitler many times prior to his abdication) but it was soon realised that any info they got the Fuhrer was old news and would compromise relationships with Russia. If he did get away, he would of had the elite looking after him and some of the supposed hideouts were in the middle of nowhere. I thought likewise someone would rat him out but I'm amazed how much of Europe had Nazi sympathys
