April 26, 20197 yr 2 lads, previously known for appearing in Most Wanted, win £4M on a scratchcard cept it looks like they might have bought it on a stolen card https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/bolton-pals-go-four-day-16183751 Two pals from Bolton who won £4m on a scratchcard have spent the last four days celebrating - but have now been told they may not get the winnings. Mark Goodram, 36, and Jon-Ross Watson, 31, landed the jackpot after buying a £10 scratchcard on Easter Monday. But, the payout is on hold as Camelot investigate whose debit card they used to buy the ticket, at a Waitrose in Clapham, south London, the Mirror reports. Neither Mark or Jon-Ross are said to have a bank account, which is needed to have a debit card. When asked whose card it was, they said they gave a friend called 'John' the cash to buy the ticket on his card. Camelot officials are said to be confident that the scratchcard is legit, but want more information about the debit card used to pay for it.
April 26, 20197 yr If it does turn out they bought it with a stolen card, I hope Camelot give the prize money to the person they stole it from.

Will they bollocks - it'll go back into 'the pot'. Thieving weasels. (Meaning I agree the prize should go to the debitcard owner). Edited April 27, 20197 yr by Youri McAnespie
April 27, 20197 yr If I'd had my card nicked I'd come forward saying the duo were indeed my pals and that the money was lent on the agreement any prize would be shared. Because that's the only way Camelot won't be able to weasel out of paying. Why anyone supports this idiot tax, in any form, anymore is baffling.
