September 19, 20187 yr Let my membership @ Stockport GC lapse this summer as I’d not played in 2 years, so I’m currently having a hiatus. i used to be not bad, got down to 8 when I played regularly but up to 11.5 when I quit. Just not playing enough

September 19, 20187 yr Was a member at Leigh golf club for over 10 years in my younger days, got my handicap down to 12 at age 15. Bought a second hand set of clubs a while back, so intending to get a few rounds in when I can.

September 20, 20187 yr Used to be a member at Great Lever & played off 12 at my peak, hardly played for a couple of years but go to Hart Common when I do. It's a good test & always in good nick...I'm definitely a summer golfer though.
September 20, 20187 yr Member at Turton for years and got down to 19. Kids and work put a halt to it for a long time not played this summer due to my back but enjoy just playing various municipals and other peoples courses nowadays. Probably off about 23 now
September 20, 20187 yr Did a charity golf day a few week back for mcmillan cancer research me and 3 mates 72 holes in 24 hours. Started off at 5am and finished at 8.30pm was hard work so don't want to see a golf course for a while. Did manage to raise £1350 for a good cause though

October 12, 20187 yr Played on and off for years not enough to reduce to a decent handicap mind.
