Thin on the ground it seems.

Id have McCarthy in heartbeat. Warburton too.

    Been gone too long

  • Regardless of the football served up by the man I cannot help but be impressed by him as a person. All kinds of nonsense at the club with him and colleagues not being paid. A club he is highly thought

  • Apathy has set in though now & that's worse than having a row about it. I've previously had a go at the yoof who regularly boo the team/tactics but I couldn't turn round now & justify why they

Aye I am sure he would stay at Salford rather come to a proper football club.

I’m not arsed who we get we won’t do anything with any manager while we’re potless.

I don’t think so

I’m talking nag resigned and nowhere else to go cos they have had enough

it doesn’t happen

they want the pay off

Yep. And most are human enough not to walk out and leave their team of coaching staff, who they have often worked with for a long time, behind to fend for themselves.

Parky isn't walking without a pay off. He knows there is no money to pay off his. or his team's contracts. There is no money to pay new staff to replace them.

He's here until we have new owners.

Aye, generally they get sacked, poached or retire

Except Wenger, he had a year left, only one I can think of though

What happens in the event of administration?

Presumably plenty of staff will be flirted, how much do they get then?

Don’t forget that Alexander made a right mess of it when he went to Scunthorpe, leaving Fleetwood where had plenty of dosh and free reign of the whole management of the club as part of a whole ‘project’. Can’t see why he’d leave that behind for a second time given it was obviously intriguing enough for him to take the job in the first place. Why leave behind the real life equivalent of cheating on Championship Manager to join our basket case of a club, and that’s without considering whether he’s particularly got the right experience to go from the richest club in their league to trying to polish a turd with us.

I’m not touting him just relaying what I’d heard. If Bolton came calling I’d expect him to bite our hands off.  Let’s face it Salford won’t ever be bigger than Bury.

Salford could be in the same division as Bury next season.

Second favourite behind Bruce at 5/1 skybet

If Reading came knocking Parky would be off like a shot.

Not unimaginable they would want him ex player & course / distance winner horses for courses etc.

No way will Reading want Parkinson and his brand of football. Unfortunately.
