The tweet is somewhat ominous. If the deal is done - I doubt they'd be forewarning a statement.

Reckon its "sorry chaps unforseen delays - hopefully in a few weeks yeah?".

 

 

My expectation for this "update" is just to reiterate that things are moving "in the right direction" and while they are taking longer than they would like, it is on track.

I could be totally wrong here, they could even be saying they are walking away, or that the deal is complete! Time will tell, but my bets are on another delay.

If the deal was done the announcement would be from the new owners not the admin. It’ll be latest update.

If it was completely done yes. But the plan way back was for admins to announce the buyer following completion of heads of terms. That was two weeks ago, but was the stated plan. 

They set deadlines for a reason. 

I get that everyone is impatient but let them do their job for God's sake.

People need to look at the long term situation - the club was dead and buried a few weeks ago, you simply do not unravel the mess of a multi-million, multi-faceted organisation in half an hour with a calculator and a fistful of pound notes.

So the squad ends up being a last minute, thrown-together assembly of journeymen and chancers? We've had that for a few years already.

We're 90% heading to the 4th division. But at least we exist.

I don’t think the admistrators would let it be known that there’s going to be “an announcement” later today if the deal had fallen through. More than likely an update along the lines of -“everything is progressing, but these things take time blah blah”

From what I can understand the company hasn't traded in the year up to 30th September, 2018 and simply reflects the accounting position of the previous financial year (just a marginal £2k which I assume Ken put in for some reason?).

The company has creditors of £475k, which I would imagine is all what Ken put in.

It's capital assets are at the time £402k for the 94.5% ownership of the shares in the club'

It seems the other £70k was what he paid to Holdsworth for shares in SSBWFC to sort out the BM debacle (shown in the previous accounting year) - so he's lost that amount with SSBWFC being liquidated.

Certainly kills the myth that Anderson was using the company for factoring purposes by receiving EFL, transfer fee income and ST futures and loaning the money to the club - in this financial year at least.

For what it is worth Chris Custard predicted all this and has been proved to be right.

However the 'interesting' time to look at would be the accounts of this current financial year when we will know far more clearly what did and did not happen.

To be honest I think there is more chance of them saying its all off than saying its done. But we shall see. I expect a holding statement tbh.

With Connell at Celtic - does that indicate administrators trying to raise short term cash to keep business afloat? Surely they'd leave it to new owners if they were at all imminent. Unless there is something we don't know about - perhaps he's exercised his rights to walk out?
