This isn't even veiled.

I simply assumed he’s writing one

White lines to right lines by M White.

Karren Brady's 10 rules for success

Anything by Dean Koontz

One I've not read, and didn't know about until a couple of days ago.

Rifleman, by Victor Gregg. Served all over the place.

He turned 100 the other day and was on breakfast TV.

What a character he is, full of stories, funny, sad etc.

Certainly will be getting it.

A lot of hotels, usually leave quite a popular book in your room, bedside drawer usually.

Spoiler alert, the main guy dies but he comes back.

Getting a Northern Rail Timetable and not reaching the airport on time.

Strangely, my lad has had a short story entered into a school competition, which has been accepted for publication in a northwest book of the best in the area.

Does that count?

I did consider writing one about the European trips, but I figured it would have limited appeal.

I wasn't taking the piss, I genuinely had it in my head that you either wrote or were writing a book. Perhaps I'm mixing you up with someone else, mate.

I wrote one on my experiences as you know full well and have commented on many times, it was good therapy at the time. Too much of a muchness now.

That poster called Den had a book of poems didn't he. Think he left years ago though.

I wrote a book on children’s fitness and healthy eating, then got told to get to fuck by the publishers  because it wouldn’t hit a mass appeal, so made it into a poster for kids in schools

It’d be a damn sight better than that manny road shite.

I don't know why but I read this post and just imagined a poster saying 'put the cake down tubs'.

I'm sure it's more substantial than that...

Like I said, I wasn't taking the piss, I honestly couldn't remember if it was you or not.

And I agree with the giant Blackpool umpa-lumpa, it'd be a far more interesting read than that other shite.

Might not be the case for you, but often these are basically scams where they get people to buy the books which then pays for the very limited publishing and profit for them running the scheme.
