Not sure what your point is mate?

Without a head of state, leader, or whatever, if a democracy is in place, who leads on the decisions that have been made?

Do you think the Queen has final say on decisions made by her elected Government?

What can I say except I'm shocked by it all.

Our Queen is our Goal keeper and stops those final balls getting through.

Can you give an example of when that has happened?

No. We don't need a "head of state". We're a country, not a fucking Religion.

Before your knickers get tangled round your bollocks

Im not debating whether or not we SHOULD have a monarchy, I’m discussing the fact that the one we have has been an absolutely fucking brilliant example of one.

In one way, a monarchy is vastly outdated, bordering on bizarre. In other ways, it gives us an identity that - like it or not - is envied around the world.

Im talking specifically about the Queen here. She’s been given a job that she could genuinely do however she wants as she is moneyed and privileged. But she has chosen to dedicate her life to it for 70 years and done so with a grace and dignity that you have to respect on a personal level of nothing else.

Im not hand wringing, or cap-doffing here, I am simply describing how I see the way she has discharged her duties.

Lets compare her to Captain Bumblecunt shall we?

The tourist attractions won't fall down if they fuck off. There's nothing stopping any of them from doing Charity work in their own time if they're that concerned.

They will still require tax payer funding to maintain them. Which is what the grant is for.

Remove the royalty, and the soldiers disappear as does the pageantry that goes with the royal presence.

Visitor money drops.

Later this year there will be 4 days of celebrations and that alone will bring millions into London's businesses.

Of course they could fuck off, keep their estates which they own, manage them less responsibly, do nowt for charity and not pay any taxes as they are lot legally bound to do so.

Great business management for the country.

They are

And they’re full of angry skidders.

We should probably have a referendum on whether or not to abolish the monarchy.

I know where I’d put my pound on that result.

Sorry, I forgot how good you are at backing the right side in Referendums.

Many times the Queen has been rolled out to smooth things over diplomatically with foreign leaders. She is whether you like it or not still enormously respected world wide. Want to get that deal done? Stick a trip to Buckingham Palace and tea with her maj on the schedule and it goes a long way to helping British Government get what they want.

You and I both know that we could go down a rabbit hole of archaic laws that have no place in modern society and get embroiled in a pointless debate. That wasn’t what I was saying. I was talking about a head of state leading on the decisions made, not necessarily the Queen, and not having a final say as such. Maybe a point badly worded. I’ll leave it. Pointless falling out over it

No examples then?

Funny seeing people get so furious because they love the Queen but can't give any tangible reason for doing so. Fucking morons.

I’ve just given you 152

I’m sure you’d be happier with a world government that brings equity across the globe to one and all.

You’ve just been born a few hundred years too soon.

The United Federation of Planets is more your kind of thing I suppose.

Where do you buy your groceries?

152 examples of State Visits. I'm looking for a single example of one of them making a tangible difference to our lives. Should be easy. Go on....

Who said she makes a tangible difference to our lives?

I didn’t.

However, you are implying here that the monarchy doesn’t make a tangible difference, so how does it ruin your life?

I get it mate. You don't know why you love the Queen. You just do. It's fine. You're clearly not alone. I love Bolton Wanderers for similar reasons. I was brain washed at an early age.
