As long as the foreign bods know what button to press when someone says 'meat and potato pie' they'll be one step ahead of my last experience at the kiosks Are we allowed to say”meat and potato” pie these days?

I was thinking of sending a letter to Shazza and her mate Emms, but surely she knows that the service is shite by now. Hopefully will improve over time. Granted it’s not the best for £4.30 just thinking this season even Peterborough which was practically a hut had decent bottles of cider it needs a complete overhaul get writing

Apologies if they were selling apple cider as well which Bolton only do draught, I only noticed the mixed berry. I don't drink at home games but it would be interesting to know if those that do drink would be happy to go on to bottled lager to speed queues up?

Sort it out. Keep up the good work. All the best Wways

I went in hotel against Southend and they had a pop up bar in corner selling bottles for £3.50, I’d happily drink bottles in ground I like to have a beer & chat at h/t but to do that I need to start queuing at 3.35

I know one was called Kay who was knocking about with a mate of mine on and off back then, she’s related to Jesus, PR who many will know who still goes to the game now, by the way he’s changed ever so slightly from back then. Good shout that. Lager in bottles rather than the fizzy keg shit they serve - that would speed the queues up considerably. I would keep the keg bitter though, cos only the occasional weirdo drinks that. Make it a nice straight price as well so there's no fucking about with change - £3 a bottle of lager and £3 a pint of pissy Worthys Queues are so year 2000 and teenys. January 3, 20206 yr The problem with the draught is that the lines need regular cleaning. I just don't think they do it often enough. I'd be running the caustic and flushing through straight after each game but not bringing the product through until the morning of the game. That'll be the job of one bloke to do every bar during the week. (Another reason that closing upper tiers makes commercial sense) Bottles every time for me as long as the fridges can cope with stock rotation. ie, not having fill from the front and servefrom the front otherwise after the first replenish you end up serving warm bottles. Maybe a chilled storage cupboard would help so you're putting ready-chilled bottles in fridges although I reckon they'd just serve from counter tops and do away with fridges.

The beer lines from the cellar were so long that the beer wastage was about 4 pints per pump. Multiply that by around 10-15 pumps per bar it was no wonder Wednesday was everyone's favourite day. Fucking wrecked by the time we'd done.
January 4, 20206 yr There is no cellar. They secretly pour cans of Skol into your glass, a la Phoenix Nights.
January 4, 20206 yr Love it when folk on here pretend they are some kind of beer expert. You don’t buy it because it’s not £2. Honestly it isn’t the worst you will drink. Especially considering most of you wild drink that real ale shite whilst a making weird faces pretending it does taste like donkeys arse sweat
