Absolute cunt.

Murphy was an idiot but I thought his first yellow was soft.

On a booking already then Murphy was very silly to make that foul, but what pisses me off the most is that there were probably 5 or 6 similar fouls to that on Sunday by Shrewsbury players and none of them warranted yellows according to that ref, it’s shite

We are at we are, we'd of all settled for this 30mins before going bust.  We've got owners who fought through when we was all shitting ourselves.  Grow up and grow some, I'd of settled for this positi

  • Im not having that. The way they fought under the cosh second half v Shrewsbury no lack of effort from most. Let down by Lowe and Murphy today. Hills no genius but hasnt got much. Ironic how many

Under KH I make it we have conceded 29 goals in 16 league games, even taking Accrington out of that it's not right good reading.

Absolute garbage for 85+mins today.

Who's coaching that defence? Flitcroft?

And Hill's tactical masterstoke where Buckley/Verlinden play in Murphy's role , whilst Old Grady plays on the wing had Elmander at Wembley written all over it.

The tramp is trying to be clever, but only succeeding in highlighting his shortcomings.

Hill is bobbins. Simple as that. I actually think we have the ingredients to have saved ourselves. But the way we defend is unacceptable. And it has been since he arrived.

I am a Wright fan but he was rank today

Great cameo from Politic

Weir actually came into the game late on, so well done him|

And the ref and the wsl linesman, utter spunk

Watch their 4th goal again, 10 minutes from the end, and Weir makes no attempt at all to track/tackle the creator of the goal (and central defenders were as bad).  I always thought Weir had been badly treated by Hill with his lack of game time, but I can see why now.  One forward pass all day, that Politic scored from, and lost plenty of possession, hardly making any tackles.  Its the lack of appearances from Politic compared to the other midfielders that is the mystery.

I'm not watching that shite again

My point being he kept going and I think got better as the game went on

As for something 80 minutes in, in his first game for months, a man down, he's probably fcuked

Buckley, Weir and Politic all appeared as if from nowhere today. New year new chance?

Thought Weir did well considering and the lack of Politic infuriates me. He might amount to nothing, but he’s strong and can beat a man. Exactly what we need.

Completely agree.

thing I don’t get is folk bemoaned Owen coyle and the focus on table tennis and 5 aside training. Yet our defending (albeit with much better players than we have now) was a million times more organized and better so beggars the question what the fuck are these boys doing all week??

Even at schoolboy level defenders are coached and taught to defend. There is no sight whatsoever of any organization or semblance of any structure to the way we defend and that for me sits with the management team

not sure when folk will finally wake up and realise this “it’s a team of stragglers” excuse has long worn thin.

there will be teams with worse players Than ours man for man who can defend a whole lot better. Because they are coached properly and aware of theirs and their team mates limitations.

The comments under this suggest the honeymoon period is well and truly over.

Knew as soon as we went two up we were in for a tricky afternoo  - I didn't quite expect Burton to get three in the first half though. Some abysmal defending all round, I thought Chicksen was the only one from the back four to come out with any credit today.

Also, are people actually calling for Hill's head? Pathetic.

Chicksen has been quality these last 2 home games.  Which just adds further mystery to Hill playing 2 players out of position in recent games (Bridcutt and Earl) rather than the obvious choices that everyone in the ground would make.

I'd put it more down to us being very poor at the shithousing side of the game eg Buckley's was so obvious that the ref had no choice.

And conversely, when we're being shithoused upon, go down. I get that today's ref probably wouldn't have given anything but at least give him a decision to make.

I thought Weir was very unsure of himself, which I can't particularly blame him for because I'm also of the opinion he was playing out of position.

Similarly with Politic, he struggled to impose himself early in the season and I can understand why he first lost his place in the team. But then he doesn't appear to me to be a winger, so it makes sense.

The referee gave Murphy the yellow because he fucked up with his play on decision which came to nothing .Ok Murphy should have been wary with that clown in charge but its his job to tackle & win the ball .The second yellow was a bit harsh but that poser couldnt wait to flash the red .Utter shithouse.

Earlier in the season politic always looked more comfortable when he was moved inside. KH doesn't seem to want to try him there.

I agree. If we're to get the best out of him it'll be by playing him through the middle.

I said exactly that today, was an obvious instance where Darcy could have gone to ground and didn't and while it's honest and admirable and I don't like the alternative, there comes a time when you have to play the same game as everyone else.

Twice the decision was a foul or a yellow, for diving.

Both times he gave neither.

2 nil up early doors and losing 4-3.

Never ever acceptable.

Missed every fucking goal today but that result is absolutely shite given where we were!

This team are not playing for the manager and do not have faith in his tactics/shape, in my opinion.

Ironic how many of Parkinsons cheerleaders who made excuse after excuse for him seem to have it in for Hill already. We are a limited team thsts been thrown together with a limited manager . Bad as it was at times today still rather watch us this season than last.

Fucking hell yes, it's all coming back. Foul right in front of goal, albeit about 25 yards out. Want a free kick? Nah, let's wait for the ball to be played out to the East touchline on the halfway line. What a cunt!
