i dont see why its so difficult for you to grasp

Then they shouldn’t travel or work, it’s not difficult to understand the advice.

I am in favour of locking down hot spots, London and Wolverhampton for a start, blanket lockdown not yet.

Thanks mate! 👍

I'm already on a vegy run later in the week for a number of gippers, so an extra shipping list is no hassle!

Could the virus have peaked anyhow ? Are the figures even correct or reliable in China? my view is lockdown should be very last resort and we ain’t at that stage yet, further more folk who are at high risk are already being told to isolate.

what is your issue with a 2 week lockdown

seriously, why are so against it?

Sure

Mounts

You're out and about. Something happens, let’s say you fall over or an incident of hitherto unforeseen nature occurs that results in you having to come into contact with others. One or more of these others are the knobs ignoring the advice and are riddled with CV. There’s loads of possibilities.

Remove yourself from this possibility and it’s a 100% guarantee that you won’t catch and spread it.

I don’t know what you’re not getting.

All unnecessary journeys. It’s crystal. Crystal. You’re not that thick.

we have reduced our contact with other folk by I’d guess 90% we haven’t got the numbers of cases and deaths of Italy and Spain, we have isolated at risk folk and we need to see more evidence that this is developing like Italy and Spain, once that is clear then we should lock down.

you'll change your tune when your stock runs out, btw

The experts are saying exactly the same as I am. I’m taking my lead from THEM. Unlike the know all’s on here.

What if the experts you are choosing to take your lead from are wrong?

They have experts in the W.H.O, China, Spain, California, New York, Germany, S Korea,  France, Belgium , Netherlands, too you know. Do you think they are all wrong? and if they are what do you think the consequences may be.

I look forward to seeing what it looks like on the other side of a lockdown

Wasn’t there a chart to say we’re on the same figures as Italy were two weeks ago or have I got that wrong?

This is about timing, our experts have our figures our experts taking advice from WHO. I’ll trust our experts who are reviewing our data no doubt minute by minute.

If things are going well, why not absolutely nail it now whilst it’s “under control”

Are all the jobs you do this half arsed?

There is nothing negative in terms of slowing this right down by having a lockdown.

Worst ways, it’s overkill and it fucks off altogether. Bring it on.

Reluctantly I’ll have to abide, sadly it’s not needed, not yet anyhow and the alarmists have won the day if we do lock down within the next couple of days.

you don't watch the news, do you

You can’t nail it by lockdown you are only trying to slow it down so we can cope, it will go through majority of our population. On lockdown let our experts make the fucking call.

Problem as we know is those extra day 4 days of dicks being well, dicks, will inevitably lead to probably thousands more deaths in a couple of weeks time.

You've not been listening to Mounts, we're not going to see anything like those sorts of levels here in the UK

Mounts, in Lombardy they've compared the infection and death growth rates in Lodi (lockdown 24th Feb) with Bergamo (8th March)

figures show Lodi has flattened the curve - Bergamo is growing.

what do you think has caused this?

Yes been watching all morning what’s happened here in the UK that means we should lockdown now?

Every single person panic buying, drinking in pubs, out at the beach... all of them would be totally fine to do so if they were the only person in the country doing it.

It's not difficult this.

we're up to 281 deaths and fucking idiots are going out and spreading it
