You’re an embarrassment, with your ‘pal’, ‘mate’ to the posters you suck up to, you sycophant. Grow a pair, you massive arselicker.

And go get your daily exercise. Sounds like you need it tonight sweetie

😂

Unbelievable that Matt Hancock and the government took a political decision not to join the EU ventilator scheme and used a cover up story blaming lack of communication as the reason they did not participate.  That is scandalous.  They would not have known at that stage if the ventilators would materialise or not but what a shocking state of affairs that they were prepared to gamble with saving peoples lives.

You're not Spider and I'm working.

By the way

Was my mums funeral yesterday.

To say it was bleak would be a massive understatement.

3 of us in the chapel in Shrewsbury, the livestream wouldn’t work so no other family could watch.

The people there were doing their best but we were ushered in and out like it was a dystopian theme park.

I know this is the same for thousands of people, and it’s shit for each and every one of them.

Whatever it takes to get this virus under control we really must do. People shouldn’t have to go through that. Even the hearse looked bare because we couldn’t source and wreaths or flowers and the undertakers are reluctant to touch anything in any case.

My point is, protect your oldies. They deserve a better send off than the ones being delivered right now.

Love and peace.

Sincere condolences. That is incredibly tough but hopefully you will find a way for you and the family to remember her when things are normal again.

I didn't know that and can only offer my condolences, my point was as a whole we could all be having it far harder.

Spider and yourself are obviously having it harder than the vast majority of us.

We’ve all got strains. Folk not seeing family and loved ones for weeks and now months. Folks short of money. Pressures of being at home all the time.

granted it could be a lot worse Than it is  if that was your point 👍🏼

It was, I've not seen my folks for months now and they've not seen their grand kids because my mam had shut herself down for at least a month before we had to.

Her and my dad can't do zoom or owt because my dad can't be pissing about with it and she can't do it for herself, she's carers going in every day who could be bringing anything in to them but they are necessary risks.

I'm just hoping we're all still around when it's done so we can laugh about it.

Anyway back in topic. I saw today we have massively more capacity to test than we actually are doing. Anyone ITK as to why this is the case?

They can only test NHS staff and people going into hospital/in hospital.

If that's below the amount available, testing numbers will fall..

It's more erotic if you think - she's just had a shit, washed her hands, made her kids Heinz Beans N Sausage on toast for tea and then thought "hmm I'll throw a pose in for everyone".

Or maybe that's just me...

If we were struggling for ventilators you might have a point.

As it is, we've plenty on order, some delivered and the hospitals doing admirably after the British public largely bought into social distancing.

Perhaps, given the EU's shafting of Italy early doors, our lot thought "fuck that for a game of soldiers".

Who the fuck knows, it's just good that we've sourced them from anywhere that can supply them.

Sorry you had to experience it, it’s not a pleasant experience and must be 1000 times worse when it’s your mother.

agree with your sentiments entirely

was my uncles funeral yesterday also, couldn’t go, 10 only allowed, I watched on the webcam feed though, as did most of the family, which is a blessing when you hear it wasn’t working at yours, and some others Ive heard , was surreal watching the few who could go being apart in the chapel and still feels surreal now like we haven’t really done it , said goodbye or whatever .

Hard to explain

May your mum rest in peace mate.

Well, 4 or so years time you’ll have your one vote to try and put things right.

All care staff with symptoms are now offered a test too

although saying that my sister is a carer in the private sector and her company has not made her aware which is shocking in my opinion.
