Had a look on Rivi website. Can get 12 fog for 50 quid and isn’t showing as sold out which I thought it was?

6 quid delivery

£50 good lord

Xmas present for me. Wouldn’t normally dream of it pal. But I’ve not heard a bad word said about it from anyone so it intrigues me

You ever tried any of their beers?

Got freebies but passed them on not my bag

i luv my ales , but some of the prices quoted are a bit emperors new clothes imo

bit like when brew dog rocked up on way more in marketing than look at their beer

now the new kids on the block have really got the beers right and have fancy labeling too

but some of their pricing is madness if you pour lots of beer product down ur neck

Aldi tonight 8 bottles of McEwans Champion 7.3% Champion beer

quality product , not quiet as chewable as a 12% cask aged stout that i love

but come on £12 for a decent evenings drink

Horses for courses.

Taste is taste. I don't drink wine. She does. I spend £6 on a bottle for her and she doesn't moan (know) that I spend the same on a can for myself.

Rivi is worth it.

Fog is worth it.

Taste is taste.

I've been reading CAPSLOCK for too long.

Why am I on a new line

Had a Pollys Cause and Effect earlier. Best 'new' beer in a while.

Got my own Rivi glass.

Evatt out

My fridge is now almost exclusively rivi, pollys and cloudwater

Assorted 10 bits and bats

As for the cost. Tonight's been about 30 quid

Only like a quiet night out

You see I struggle with the concept of spending 30 quid on beer sat in the house. I think I’m on the same page as @radcliffewhite1 in that regard.

As a one off as a treat aye. But I would honestly rather wait til i can go out again or spend it the money on some top notch ingredients to cook. Each to their own

It's a good habit to get into.

When I was younger I'd think nothing of supping a dozen Fosters or similar.

Now it's ale that's x6 times the price.

I don't mind cos it's all relative and subject to my income etc

Then again I'm a sucker for a fad

Bought x3 660ml Sam Adams. Get a a buzz from it.

Fair enough but we aren't going out.

Ever.

So a meal out with booze is £60.

Beer in is half that

She cooks

I cook

We're up on the deal

Where I'm at too. Tend to get some cheaper/standard beers in and treat myself to a few of the more expensive stuff. It may be overpriced but when its good its bloody good.

Be 60 here just for the food 😁. I’m out for lunch weds 39quid set lunch. But by fuck it will be good.

like I say each to their own. I’m going to get some fog but it will be a one off and maybe a couple of cans now and again.

but it it gives folk enjoyment that’s good in these strange times

My missus has done the same, 6 months at the end of this month. She is now saying she isn't drinking again or at least doing 12 months.

Yeah, I was thinking along those lines until about a week ago :D

Tbf i'm a stone and half lighter since i started without doing fuck all. Probably avoiding my hungover feeding cures haha

£5 for a can?

I can only presume you've lost your minds during lockdown.

If a pub or bar charges a fiver a pint they are getting the handdryer booted off the wall at minimum - probably smash the urinals too.

I'm sure these 'brewers' love rinsing you to buy beard cream, top knot thingamajigs, push along scooters, shit vinyl represses and quinoa.

Absolute madness.

And it tastes like piss - you can get similar piss for about a quid in Home Bargains.

Five quid a can? I'd rather join ISIS.

30 quid for nowt - crackers.

Everyone's palate is fucked three drinks in.

I’m actually drinking less than I used to.

But I found I was shovelling 10/11 bottles of generic lager down my neck and it was habit over taste.

3 or 4 cans of rivvy and I’m done. (Most times anyway). In terms of cost I’m no worse off.

might finish with a glass of wine or some bourbon, but I’m taking less volume so may well be drinking healthier.

Or not. I don’t give a fuck really.
