Getting there now

You see I struggle with the concept of spending 30 quid on beer sat in the house. I think I’m on the same page as @radcliffewhite1 in that regard.

As a one off as a treat aye. But I would honestly rather wait til i can go out again or spend it the money on some top notch ingredients to cook. Each to their own

I can't drink at home. I miss the whole going out to the pub experience as much as the drink so my lockdown alcohol has been Capn. Morgans spiced rum, and sending myself giftcards for Northern Monkey.

I'd defy you to stop at two cans if you were drinking Rivvy Fog. It's just unputdownable.

Don't start on it if you're working in the morning coz you'll not stop at two.

Only thing that stops me opening another is if I've had a meal and am full up.

My fridge is now almost exclusively rivi, pollys and cloudwater

Assorted 10 bits and bats

As for the cost. Tonight's been about 30 quid

Only like a quiet night out

Told you, you're gonna need a bigger fridge - or move house.

Once you've had a few of the Track, you'll be making room for them, too.

I finished last Wednesday and been non stop drinking I reckon in a few hours a bottle will be open

i went to the docs (first time for about 10 years) last week for a flu jab

against all advice from my medical advisor and overcoming my general fear of needles, i let them do some blood tests

turns out im not going to see february

actually, possible signs of minor liver disease so i need to get a re test

so ill get christmas out of the way, then lay off it til feb and then go

upside, no diabetes

Just been gifted 4 cans of Mobberley IPA by my local boozerie as a thank you for for being a loyal customer over the last year. 😄

Not the best idea, going to the doctor in the middle of the drinking season!

Drop me your address I’ll be up later

I’ll come too.

I’m worried about your liver and feel we should take a bullet for you.

I'm also worried and feel that because I was also stupid enough to go to the doctors at one point myself that it might be best if someone who can empathise takes all the temptation away.

Tbh, its probably not volume or even units, I dont think

I dont drink more than twice a week

I often drink on an empty stomach and I'm probably in the binge category

Need to grow up

Probably

Tommy Wrights profits will take a hit with that news

In cheerier scenes I've just been to Bargain Booze in Leyland, good selection and prices

Owner was telling me how he's gonna ramp up the selection further 👍

Do you know when folks say;  “it’s never too late”?

It probably is

Gonna be a WW pile on in Leyland at this rate.

Lad's really enterprising.

Best selection of Polly's I've seen anywhere.

Got some Wiper And True in the Secret Santa (I know, I know) at work. Never heard of em but 3 different ones including a 7+% IPA.

He's a top guy. Off there on Wednesday for my Christmas stock. He gets new stuff Wednesday and Thursday morning btw

Delicious can of Rivi Fog to celebrate finishing work for the Christmas break.

Best I've seen was a brewery bottle shop in Porthmadog

They were a local brewery called Purple Moose but along with theirs they stocked all Welsh stuff

Walked out with 8 different Pollys and left some behind

Felt guilty not buying any Purple Moose

After 50 days without I'm sat here with a litre stein with 3 cans of Treboom Brewery's Trommel in it, glass and cans out of the feeezer.

Not sure I picked the right thing to break the streak, but reckon it would be a big success in summer for both lager drinkers and normal people.

So, let me know if I have this right; your medical advisor says don’t have a blood test.
You go ahead and have one where they report minor liver disease.

Don’t you wonder why your advisor was against the test? She’s bloody poisoning you slowly. Fact!

Does your food taste slightly saltier than normal? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

What is a medical advisor if not a doctor?
