Kane57
Cheers everyone. Been some excellent recommendations shared on here. Anyway, opened a Four Walls from Rivington. It's 7.2% but doesn't taste it. Almost like a session beer. Decent.

Now look here I absolutely refuse to accept the slings and arrows of outrage from a bunch of people who consider lobby an acceptable thing to consume. I know Bud is a guttural, derisory beer in many ways, but as I have explained - it’s ability to lack any depth of flavour means it cleanses the pallet and stops me shotgunning £5 tins of proper ale a light speed. Not that I need to explain myself to a ragtag, scruffy gathering of vile druggy thugs like you. I also have for later a bottle of Frogs Leap Zinfandel. Which you peasants wouldn’t understand. Except Diver.

Zinfandel from the Napa Valley would glide over your palate in the same way a glassy eyed simpleton would gaze unwittingly at the Mona Lisa, assuming it to be a selfie. It’s why I can’t eat lobby. ErnestTurnip
Working tomorrow but I've booked a bottle of Jam Shed and 3 Katy down in MyFitnessPal and still coming in under 2000 calories, winning at this fitness lark today.

I had to think quick and answered "Every home should have one" He brought me drink rather than putting a 38 slug into me.
Escobarp
Xmas really isn’t Xmas without the pub. Today I would usually have gone for a few pints with the lads from my old work. Tomorrow afternoon a few pints with my mates until about 5 and then home. it’s all tradition for me now. it’s set in stone Xmas day prepare the dinner and get it all to a certain point and away to the pub at 12 for an hour and a half and then home. when the pubs shut I wasn’t arsed. I hadn’t been drinking for 5 months so hadn’t missed it and thought meh. I will never take the pubs for granted again. And look forward to next Xmas being a normal one. gonzo
Thirded. Christmas day without a pint in the local is depressing. They normally have a charity duck race on the the stream that surrounds the pub, £1 a duck winner takes all. Always an ace atmosphere. Gonna be weird without it.
