I know the dates of birth of my kids so don’t need them plastering on my neck as a reminder.

No point having a Union Jack needled into your calf muscle as it’ll be a relic of the past fairly soon.

I do plan to get a half sleeve when I can do a bit of research and find the right place

never bothered, they become dated very quick

I've got 3, all have BWFC somewhere on them, one of them the badge for late 90's.

Dont regret them at all. Wont be having any more I wouldn't think but wont get them removed/covered over either

Second time I went to Sri Lanka, anther guest rocked up with a Buddha tat, the hotel practically went into shutdown, as the staff went mad and refused to work, and a load of rowdy tuk-tuk drivers were outside the gates beeping their horns. He was "removed" the next day, and everybody was told he'd gone back to the UK....the rep told us in reality him and his family had just been moved to another resort, and told to keep it covered up.

Japan are a little funny about tattoos, I went to Okinawa beach and they asked me to cover my tattoo up.

Might be location dependant, they certainly were not happy about it in the Kalutara area. It was mildly amusing for most of us... Obviously not the family it affected, who were shitting themselves for the 36/48 hours they were in the hotel

Seeing 50 odd year old slappers with faded tattoos in the beer garden put me off my ale today.

Just had a little read about tattoos in various countries. One thing I saw was that since 1966 its been forbidden to have head, neck etc tattoos in Denmark. 

An odd one!

I remember those sleeves and soppy star ones being a thing a few years back. 

Tbf they all look a bit shit to me but each to their own. 

Mate had a Bolton badge done that looked like a pizza.
