Tattoos

Not got any meself.

What’s the appeal?

I know the dates of birth of my kids so don’t need them plastering on my neck as a reminder.

No point having a Union Jack needled into your calf muscle as it’ll be a relic of the past fairly soon.

Lads who had roses or a heart with MUM on it in the 80’s must be regretting it by now, surely?

Never had one, can't think of anything that wouldn't seem daft in future. Kids nowadays don't care. All sorts of stuff, the more stupid the better.

I still wish Kent had got that Prodigy Ant he was threatening at 19.

Cooking with gas there.

A lad in Subway served me the other week and he had “no regrets” tattooed on his arm.

I felt for him, I really did.

I did once but I think I got away with it

Whether for or against, some of the tattoos I’ve seen lately are brilliant works of art

I’ve got one. Looks a bit shit now. Having it covered over with the ska man dancing. Couldn’t give a shiny one what anyone thinks. Mrs Manc has two

No. Never seen the point.

They are. Love a tattoo on a lass as well.

If anyone can recommend a tattooist or studio I’d be grateful

Why the fuck would you have a religious symbol permanently etched onto your skin when you don't even follow that religion? The mind boggles.

How do you know that? Genuine question? Quite presumptuous really. Although that isn’t surprising

Call it an educated guess.

They look shit when they get old. My father in law has some 50yr old ones, they look like they've been done in blue felt tip pen now.

Thinking of having the Joey Holts bitter logo on my chest

Just bath in piss and then folk will know you’re a holts drinker , rather than endure the pain pal

I bet they'll still fade and stretch and look a bit daft if you have them for years.

He's got "made in Lancashire" in a circle round his belly button, some Army thing on his calf and a panther on his arm, that now looks like a cow.

I've also got a mate with a nike swoosh tattoo on his shoulder with the word Rave, where nike should be. Looked great in 1989.

Aye my dad had really faded blue ones on his arms. But he was in the Navy so I am fairly sure they were compulsory back then. 🙂

Got tribal over my upper arms and across my back, and then a paladin knight on my chest.

Plans to get another on my other chest at some point.

Used Gary at Bolton tat shop opposite the new bus station.

If only I could bath in Holts bitter every day for the rest of my life 😋

I was in the Athy Arms yesterday, they turned 5 lads away because they said they came from Westhoughton.

My grandma has got the head of a panther on her upper arm that she had in the 70's. When I was a kid it already looked like it'd had a stroke. Now it just looks like a very nasty bruise.

Maybe it's a tribute to his favourite Chinese takeaway away

2 lads I know popped to Leigh on their scooters last Sunday, had a chat with them outside the Kasbar (Retro Cafe) on Chapel Street. They had a San miguel then rode home.

Noticed on Facebook yesterday some mates from Bolton checking in Manchester bars and restaurants.

It seems people have ways and means, it's all becoming a bit pointless, we all buy into this, the longer we don't, the longer it carries on.

Our area is surrounded now with outbreaks, will give it a week or two before we go the same way.

Back to Tatts.

Missus had our wedding song tattooed on her back 13 years ago, it's now blurred and becoming unreadable, she probably had the wrong font and went into a bit to quickly, at least she can't see it.

Whats the song?
