But when I was on pregab I would sleep 12 hours not a probs most nights. Although I sleep 10 hours a night most nights now and if I get less than that I make it up another night so 70 hours minimum per week kip. 😁

October 6, 20205 yr My L5-S1 disc decided to pop out a bit about 12 years ago After years of misdiagnosis of torn muscles, endless physio, needles in my back, drugs, none of which worked, finally I had confirmation that it was a prolapsed disc I can shift a massive settee, move a fridge freezer and shovel tons of gravel no problem. The last few times it’s gone I’ve dipped a paint brush in a tin of paint, picked up an empty shampoo bottle out of the shower and stupid shit like that Best advice I’ve had is to strengthen my core. Start off swimming and yoga. Been hammering the pool and doing yoga exercises. Next step is a personal trainer for the gym with exercises based on avoiding stress on the area where the issue is but building strength around it. Working well so far. Wish I’d had better advice years ago because now my back feels quite strong

I have a 18 yr old on my books at the moment and he’s done a disc in his neck I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

October 6, 20205 yr Yes mate. Joined The Village Hotel gym a year or so ago. Not had the courage to use the gym as I’m petrified about popping the disc again. The more I swim though the more I feel I’m gaining strength around my lower back. And even though I feel like an utter twat doing the yoga exercises it really does help

Invest in expensive firm pillows, v shaped ones are good. Work that core strength to improve your posture Just now, MancWanderer said: Yes mate. Joined The Village Hotel gym a year or so ago.
