It's that match v Darlington (5/11/86?). What it would have looked like if everyone who claims to have been there, really was.

Brum?

nope

Two lots of fans in there coppers in the middle , reckon the central group are the away fans & the ones at the bottom home fans waiting for numbers to attack .

Then again maybe not , interesting most are facing the wrong way .

I’ll go Barnsley.

there are some clues there though

- kop

- low-ish roof (compared to somewhere like Hillsborough where it was dead high up)

- the scarf showing they play in a light / dark combo

Looks a fair size terrace - i'll go Wolves

I'm intrigued by the windows at the back. Very unusual. I have not a clue, but given the clues you've given I'll go for Norwich. But I don't think it is.

For photos from that era it’s stuff like the windows and the roof that normally give the clues as it’s stuff like that I remember

Low roof and I think that’s quite a small terrace so I’m leaning towards Leicester like @Tonge moor green jacket

Apparently it's forest fans in the home end in 1967

I’ve got photos of my dad in one in the 60s and I remember trying to carry it off as a look by wearing the very same one as a teenager so you could be right? Maybe a year or so earlier. Dunno. Anyway I looked a right dick and ditched it

Fairly sure this has been posted before and probably easy for those who like looking at old football pictures

but it's as much an excuse to post old football pictures as it is to have a quiz / guessing game

Aye. Great pic. Not far from the Head Office of a company I used to work for

Auto trading insults

Wouldn’t have got it without the clues above. Didn’t ever go there but never noticed the huge segregation pit. Guessing that had gone by the 90s play offs etc?
