Mansfield

Just can't see us getting anything from a rejuvenated Mansfield side, especially since Clough has taken charge.

I don’t recall any home ones being early, but Bayern away was 6pm UK time and Plovdiv was 3.55pm UK time *Just realised it was the Marseille home game where I dropped my phone down the bog and go

I have never posted anything to it! So all own goals have no reflection on the team creating chances? Just go and stew in the bitterness of this victory,  you must be fuming

Like when we agreed to move that hull game from saturday to friday night for rugby
Pisses me right off

Worked well for me, as my daughter got married on the Saturday and they were insisting I was there.

Didn’t charlton get moved around Easter time I remember re booking that and a few unhappy

Got moved to Good Friday. I booked my stag do in London for the Saturday to take in the game but ended up missing it

That was it think we paid a cancellation fee then got some back and re booked and good Friday was more expensive you couldn’t just swap

Just drawn 2-2 at Colchester, led till the 89th minute.  That keeps them both below us.

Hopefully they're too nackered and gutted to be ready to play us on in 72 hours 😀

wont be on rain forecast until wed.....The league should really look into this.

We should be awarded 3 points and expenses paid......they put groundstaff on furlough

This league is losing any credibility it had after allowing Barrow to de register injured players and also putting them on furlough

Should just play it at the UniBol, home or away makes no difference this season

Carlisle have only played 23.  They've got exactly half the season to play in 12 weeks.

By the time we get to Easter the strength and depth of our squad (for Lge2) should pay dividends. Strong finish for us i reckon

I wonder if the EFL are green enough to believe those added to the squad as cover for those injured will be the ones suddenly ‘injured in training’ in order to make way again once the first lot are fit again.

Didn't take Barrow long to be breaking/stretching the rules.

I've just noticed they're in the botton two, albeit Southend a point above them have played 3 games more.

Odd league this.

Bit OTT and odd that, I know it's frustrating but playing Wed Sat is not unusual is it Just worried he giving the players an excuse.

Preferred him to use 'it's not ideal but the world is a crazy place at the moment and up to me and my team to rise to the challenge' etc

The league need to get as many games on as they can given all the cancellations to be fair to them.

It's going to be two games a week for most clubs from now on. That just needs adjusting to.

Between games it should be injury maintenance, physio, loosening up & practicing dead balls (attacking and defending) and playing burst matches 20m a go.

I like Evatt but being a moaning git isn't going to do himself any favours. Just get on with it, we've got a fair sized squad - use it.

If we play as open as we did on Saturday we will lose here.

Anyway, with all this positivity about the lock-down ending sooner than initially thought, & beer gardens being open i've just booked a few hotels.

We may be out of lockdown from Forest Green onwards.

A few trips to the seaside to come too.....

:)

He'd be wise to keep his frustrations to himself but it's a shit do IMO.

They agreed with us to re-play our fixture on Tuesday. If moving Saturday's fixture to Sunday would have an impact on them re-playing our fixture on Tuesday they should either re-arranged Saturday's fixture to another date or at the very least contacted us for permission first.

During our euro-days we played plenty of Thursday/Sunday games. Is there any difference?

Wednesday-Saturday is only the same time frame as Saturday-Tuesday
And Sat-Tues-Sat is the same time frame as Sat-Wed-Sat.

IE wants to stop moaning about irrelevant shit IMO.

Refs? yes
Our lack of goals? yes
fixture planning? nah.

Agree crack on IE same for everyone

100%.

Plenty of teams play on a Wednesday evening then have another on Saturday. The travel is unfortunate, but not unique.

We have a big squad; use it and get some results. Stop moaning.

I think there's probably a difference in match preparation, to be fair. It's not ideal to plan for a Tuesday-Saturday only to then find out it's Wednesday-Saturday.

Its a triple whammy for our preparation time compared to Southend's.

They are one of the few EFL teams to have no midweek game so have all week to prep for a home game.

Compared to our 2 away trips totalling 700 miles in about 3 days, we could have done without the late change to Wednesday.  But easy to see why the EFL want the games played asap.
